On top of all of these annoyances, this thing just doesn't do a good job of cooking bacon. Cooked bacon comes out very uneven, you'll have nearly burned spots and nearly raw spots on the same piece. Do yourself a favor, use the money you'd spend on this and buy any half-decent cast iron skillet, cleanup is easier, pouring the grease out is less risky, the resulting bacon is better, and you'll have a skillet nicely seasoned with bacon grease for cooking things other than bacon.
Firstly, it only holds 4-6 slices. Each batch takes about 8-10 minutes to cook. So for a pound of bacon, thats about 45 minutes.
Secondly, it burns the ends of the bacon while leaving the middle kinda raw.
Thirdly, the grease trap will not hold enough grease for a whole pound of bacon, so 30 minutes in grease is running all over the counter.
Fourthly, the cleanup is just a mess. Three pieces come apart and have to be cleaned separately.
All in all, this item is destined for the garbage. I kinda feel bad for the inventor, because the concept is cool. Just poorly implemented
