I am very happy with my purchases. I ordered a brand new pair and also went and bought the warehouse inspected used one on additional discount. The used pair is in perfect condition, not a mark or sign of wear anywhere on them. They’re just like the brand new pair. Perfect!I wear orthotics in my shoes, I tried them both with and without them to see how they feel. I will of course wear them with the orthotics otherwise my plantar fasciitis will get inflamed. I want to wear one pair at work which is standing on my feet my entire shift on cement floors and the other for daily use or camping etc. I will also be spraying a treatment on them for additional protection against the elements.I do have wide feet. One being bigger and slightly wider than the other as well. I always wore a 6.5 shoe, but I guess my feet spread out over time so now I wear 7.5-8 shoes/boots. I went with the 7.5 wide on these and they feel just fine. If I got 8s I think they’d have been too long and I’d be tripping on my own feet. Definitely glad I got the wides they would have been too narrow if I got the regular ones. The orthotics raise my foot in the shoe so I have to loosen the laces a lot to accommodate and this is the first time I’ve had extra length on the laces to tie rather than a teeny amount to tie my shoes!For today I am wearing these around the house to break them in. They feel fine out of the box but I tend to get foot fatigue easily due to my foot condition so I need to break them in. My baby toes always get the brunt of the pain when wearing shoes and especially new shoes. I haven’t felt that pain right away like I normally would. So that’s a plus for comfort!!So far I love these and so glad I bought both pairs! I love the color and the red laces. They remind me of the old hiking boots I used to see growing up, only a more comfortable updated version! The other colors look cute in the pics but I feel limited to what I can wear them with so I feel these are more neutral to the colors I tend to wear. Hopefully these last a long time. I do own other Columbia products and am usually pleased with their products, this is the first time purchasing footwear.Thank you!Edit I’ve been wearing these to work using my orthotics, standing on my feet on cement floor. No discomfort at all, they have been very comfortable! So happy with these boots!

I finally bit the bullet threw caution to the wind and bought these based on reviews. I am so glad I did.
The positives :
- these needed no break in, I wore them on a shorter 5 k for the first time and they were super comfortable, no foot pain, zero blisters, toe nails in tact after the hike. I do wear smart wool or Darn Tough hiking socks to help with blistering. I have a wider foot (but not super wide) and high arch and these fit perfectly. I am a 7.5 but ordered an 8 regular to give room for a thick sock and they’re perfect.
-they are water proof
-they are sturdy and can handle walking over rock and tree roots
-they are lighter weight then my Merrells
-the price point is incredible I paid $89 I believe, they are regular $160 and on sale for $125 at a local sports store
-I love the aesthetic look of these (the brown and red)
The not so great:
My only complaint is in an ideal world they would have more ankle support. As someone who tends to be a bit wobbly I love the support in my Merrells because the boot is a bit higher and provides that support. These do not provide as much, some but not a ton.
Overall I love these, I am not hiking mountains so I can’t speak to intensive hikes nor can I speak to durability over time, but for this price I am willing to risk it. I have had no foot pain, or back pain after wearing these on hikes which can be an issue without proper foot wear.
