Cyndi Raye writes mostly historical western romance except when she comes up with an idea for a contemporary romance, then she writes both. She loves the old West and the feel of small town togetherness, which is found in all of her series.

Creating worlds where everyone is considered family, if not by blood, but from friendships, heartaches and sometimes mistakes made right again is what she loves to read. So, it was important to create such a world for her own readers to indulge in.

Cyndi lives in Eastern PA and loves to travel and enjoy life with her hubby of 40+ years. She has 3 grown children and loves to spend time with her grands whenever possible.

Hope and Nick get to know each other as they care for four young orphans.

The story was well put together. Even though it had a predictable ending, the journey was fun.

The characters, even the kids, were well written. The whole thing was a delight.

This was such a lovely read by Cyndi Raye. She wrote this book very well. It was quite enjoyable on read. Hope volunteered for the orphanage for two years. She wanted to keep the four siblings together as a family. There was a family that would take all four and wanted to take the children there. Nick was happy to have his granny live with him. That way someone else would take care of the house and cook the meals. Then he found out that his granny hated to cook and work in the house. She wanted Nick to look for a wife. Upon arriving in the town with children Holly finds out the family for the children had moved away and Nick and his granny were living at the farm. What happens next as it is the Yuletide season. Such a lovely book.

This is such a fun and heartwarming book. I loved it! From the main characters of Holly and Nick, the 4 orphans, to Granny and Rudy, they were so good and just made the story complete. When Holly takes a family of 4 orphans to meet their soon to be parents to Cooper Ridge, she has no idea what is in store for her. Upon arriving, she finds the parents are gone and has no choice but to move in with Nick and Granny as their cook, while waiting to find new parents for her charges. This is when things really get interesting. This delightful book is a must read for the holidays. I highly recommend it and think you will enjoy it as much as I did. While you're at it, check out the other books in this series. They're all great!

The plot for The Outlaw Elves was unique. I truly loved all of the characters.
I found too many spelling errors or typos so I gave the book four stars. Without those errors it would most definitely be a five star story.

Nick Goes from living with his grandmother to taking in Hope, four children and their chaperone. Hope is hoping to place the children in a good home but they may already be there.

Such a fun, well written book. The storyline was excellent from the orphans leaving, to the interaction with Pastor Murphy and Granny. The mess with the bad guys and finally Merry Christmas! Cyndi Raye delivers a wonderful and entertaining end.
