Really enjoyed this book. The start to what looks to be a great story line. The narrator did a good job. I definitely recommend this book. Looking forward to hearing more in this series.

I felt the storyline was interesting but there were gaps that needed explanations. What exactly the powers and the parts the women played for the future? What the prophecy is? Who are the Grigorie and why they seek redemption? I would have enjoyed the book more. Christy Lynn was great with the narration.

I purchased and listened to this on Audible books.
being pursued by a fallen angel who has designs on the women of this family. First we meet Toula who is raising her 3 granddaughters while their mother attends University. Narrator does a good job with the characters and Storyline.

A page turner leading into the next book Untouchable. M. K. Chester gives you just enough to keep wanting more in every chapter. The passion between the main characters is simple and complex at the same time. I enjoyed the balance of the divine and mystical characters among others. Overall, recommend this book!

This is an interesting and intriguing story line. It is also a fairly quick read/listen and prequel to the "Midheaven Origin" series. The story has empaths and angels. Toula is an empath who has her hands full raising three girls. Henri is a messenger sent to warn but may have hidden motives. The story is good and the narrator did a really good job. Having said that there are definite unanswered questions and gaps that need to filled in. Maybe more is reveled in the next story. I did listen to the audiobook of this story.

Unshakable is the prequel to the Midheaven series. Here we meet Empath Toula Thibodeaux and human-angel hybrid Henri Gregory. Toula is the the guardian of her three granddaughters. She senses danger out to get her family and so she performs a protection spell. So focused on protecting her girls, the last thing she needs is the distraction in the form of hot Henri who has been sent to warn and help her with the impending danger and doom.

As their feelings grow, can they have their love story, as well as protect the girls from the immortal being out to destroy them? Or will they fail their mission and be torn apart?

This was a nice and short intro into the series. It got me interested in reading book 1. I wished it had been longer and we had gotten more development in their romance and more explanations into the prophecy and the girls’ powers. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the journey this book took me on.

The book was narrated by Christy Lynn. The narration was perfect and I felt the characters and story came to life. The emotions were there!
