This is the third book in the Sinfully Rich Series by Vivian Wood. The book can be read as a standalone but you'll get better enjoyment if you read the first two books because of the interconnected characters. This is Luna and Gabe's story. They met in Las Vegas and had a one night stand and as fate would have it she ends up being assigned as a medical intern on his yacht. Gabe's personality is dark, moody and he definitely has trust issues. She's from money and he's not. Both of them were a little hard to like at times, he definitely had a chip on his shoulder and she. seemed shallow. But overall it was a good read and the characters were likable

This was ok. I found Gabe to be bitter, angry & closed off. It was exhausting for the majority of the book to see him constantly think about his ex fiancée, she betrayed him in so many ways & he was so hung up on her. And it was a little sad to see Luna constantly being pushed away by him, then when it’s convenient for him & he needs her she’s good enough- & she goes along w/it. He says all the right words during sex, but outside of the bedroom he’s cold & detached- hung up on his past. But Luna annoyed me too. For someone who’s supposed to be becoming a doctor, I was surprised she’d even entertain what Fletcher asked of her. I honestly didn’t think she’d stoop so low as she did & betray Gabe’s trust.
This was an ok read, but because of Gabe’s issues I had a hard time feeling any connection between him & Luna.

She meets with the owner who hires her and then he introduces his son who is the actual captain of the yacht. It is Gabe, her fling from Las Vegas.

Gabriel is stunned and wants Luna to keep their Las Vegas fling a secret. He has trust issues and is supposed to be in a self-imposed mourning period for his ex-fiance Michelle. Michelle ended up lying and cheating on Gabe and was in so much trouble she killed herself instead of asking Gabe for help.

Will Luna and Gabe be able to work on the boat together? Will the previous sparks fly between them? Will Gabe be able to trust Luna? Will Luna be able to confide in Gabe?

I almost stopped reading into the second paragraph. It’s a very common plot and since it was about being stuck on a yacht, I thought it might be a bit more interesting- but the first chapter had me thinking I was reading someone’s first attempt at a book. Very cliche- drunk girl hits very badly on guy and he bites anyway and yada yada. She mentions *twice* at the beginning and multiple times in the book she’s blonde and the cover has a dark haired girl on it and that’s a pet peeve of mine- make covers match the characters please. So after all that, it got better! A good bad guy, a hea, I ended up liking it better than i thought I would.
