I sat down to read this bite-sized prequel and completed it in one sitting. I didn't put the story down until the end, one hour later.
This engaging story has a lovely flow and credible characters that I could totally identify with. Believe you me, I've met a Dionne, Kyra and Justine at some stage in my life, and I couldn't help but smile at some of the oh-so-familiar scenarios these women find themselves in, and chuckle in response to comments that they make.
I enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to reading Distraction!

Reminiscent of the golden age of TV dramas, these women are facing a bit of everything- financial troubles, marriage troubles, single parenting, and man troubles. I enjoyed the ups and downs of this fast paced read and will certainly be picking up the rest of the series to see how this ends for these fabulous ladies!
