Have I mentioned I hate reunion books? Yet, I fall for them everytime, that is why I hate them, when they are done right, they put me through the emotional wringer

This book was done right, I think I started tearing up in the prologue for cripes sake.

So what makes a good reunion book? Lack of blame and moving forward, but also building a new relationship, not revamping the old. And not complete forgiveness, but moving past and figuring out what went wrong. It takes two to tango, so it is never one-sided, regardless of what each party thinks

This had all those in spades, it was amazingly so. There was no check list it followed, it naturally flowed and ebbed as all good stories tend to happen

Reece was perfect, he was stubborn and perfect, he was just darn sure about that. He watched his emotions, moved forward with the current situation, and finally saw things as they truly were

Sarah was at the opposite end of the spectrum, she was sure it was all her fault and needed to exorcise her demons. She accepted his terms and moved forward relying on her new personal strength. She let Reece lead all the way though, and even though that may break her heart again, she was sticking to the plan

Much the same as a new romance, this was about the growth of these people individually so they could be a stronger couple together. Outside forces both helped and hindered them, but they were more seasoning. The story is all about Reece and Sarah, who they are and why they belong together
