This is a strange book, a collection of loosely connected stories. The author seemed to not know what she wanted: Paranormal Romance or Erotica. The first two stories were good (except the over-described erotic part), with Holly and the Magician excellent secondary characters, then everything went down; the paranormal not very present; the romance missing almost completely. It looked more like the diary of an unconventional girl, who had chosen a career of prostitute - for which she used many different names - over continuing her studies.

This is weird enough, but every story feels like the author is sketching nonsensical ideas, instead of a final story. And suddenly, another call girl makes her appearance, with absolutely no connection to the other characters. Just no.

The individual stories are short and self-contained so you could read them on a quick coffee break or read the whole collection in one sitting as I did. As well as the "experience" the girls give the rich men there is a paranormal element to most of the stories and a sense of - did that really happen or was it fantasy? The writing is of a good standard and if the alpha male is your thing and/or you have a wicked sense of humour you are likely to enjoy these tales.
