About the author
USA Today bestselling author Christine Sterling writes small-town inspirational romances with a touch of humor.
Most of her stories take place in the plains of Nebraska or Colorado, but she will write wherever there are cowboys needing to find love. Her favorite stories involve tight-knit families, and you will often find that her characters cross over in many of her stories.
She lives on a farm in Pennsylvania with her husband, four dogs, and one spoiled cat, aka The Floof. She can often be found in her garden with a notebook and a cup of tea.

Elizabet Garrett needs a husband. She overhears a mail order brides brutal refusal of a local farmer due to his disability and immediately offers herself instead.
Peter Arkin has had to make many changes since he lost his leg. He wasn't really surprised when the fancy bride that arrives refuses him after seeing his missing leg. But when he has the opportunity to marry the lovely Elizabet, he agrees knowing this may be his only chance for the family he has always wanted.
This is my first book by this author, and I absolutely loved it. The story was incredibly sweet, heartwarming, and well written. The characters were likable and realistic, and there was genuine chemistry between them. I am already looking forward to the next book in the series.
Elizabet is exactly what the farmer needs.
