I freaking loved this book. Both the H and h were fun and mysterious. The whole seven sins being personified by individual vampires within their clan/mafia was a new cool concept for me, and the world building clearly explained how vampires coexist openly in the world. The romance was a steady build up and am super excited for the next in the series. I want to see more of Desi and Scout together!

Even though the grammar, character development, and romance were horribly lacking, it was a unique story, so sufficient for bedtime reading. There were way too many sex scenes, and they were raunchy and lacked any tenderness, and well, beyond caveman techniques. I ended up just skipping over them. The characters were hard to like or identify with. The author is obviously uneducated. She at one point said a character had to cross from Indiana to Wisconsin to get to Chicago. What? I'd label this just lazy, no talent writing, but worth the $0 I paid for it if for nothing else to lull my to sleep.

Tylor pulls you in right in the first pages. Desi belongs to the Seven Sins. A secret society of 7 vampires. As he puts it, they are all bad. He goes to work at a movie theater where he meets Scout. There's definitely chemistry between them. There's some hot sex, angst and even times you want to slap either of them. Desi uses his tarot cards in different ways, but mostly for the vamps he contracted to kill. I really enjoyed this story and the writing is fantastic. Five stars from me. If you are into pnr this is a must read. Waiting for book 2.

Desi and scout are both quirky vampires who made deals with the devil.

Now they are trying to figure out what they can be and "if" they can be soul mates. Their souls call to each other but is that enough?

There is a lot of mystery, twists and turns in this story. Slow drip theories and information with enough action for things to make you not want to put the book down. Which is funny considering half the book is just the two of them shooting the breeze at work at a cinema.

Its a dark paranormal, Vampire, mafia, spicy romance with a strong story line, drama, intrigue, twists, turns, hot scenes and an even hotter psychopathic main character Desi! The chemistry between Desi and Scout is electrifying and I had to fan myself after reading a few scenes. It does end on a cliffhanger as its part of a series and I need book 2 now Tylor!
