I think if this book had 50-70 more pages it could have been good. Everything just felt rushed and under developed. I wanted to experience more with the characters, not just have it all told to me.

Mad Max is an ass, but in a hot kind of way, and his protectiveness over Lexi is enduring! I love how strong headed she is and determined. They make the perfect pair, challenging each other. I am definitely rooting for this pair ❤️ and Tom's father figure attitude and humorous grumpiness is to die for! Yet another novel from this incredible author and I am not disappointed. I instantly fell in love with the characters and got pulled into the storyline, cheering on the fights and smiling like an idiot throughout the novel. . I would say this is more of a 3 1/2 stars. There was some things included that didn’t make sense. One is for the size of her tattoo and coloring it would have been a long sitting. I realize rushing through for a quick read. What I did like is their story both having horrible up bringing and then being there for each other.

This book is purely awful. First there’s no understanding of boxing culture. It’s more than sex and money. Second there’s the instalust. Revolting. Thirdly the author handles drug addiction poorly and with no trigger warning. Finally the characters are cardboard and have the emotional depth of microbes. If I could give it no stars I would. Do not waste your money.

It’s very much a short story. There was definitely a chance to delve harder and bring out a bigger, emotional story of character growth and strength. But there’s a few too many typos and not a lot of plot line other than the leads hooking up and a HEA within 2-3 weeks?

Kinda pulls you out of the story when the story is rushing so quickly to the end.
