This was a sweet book about Faith and her little girl coming back to Mason Creek to live. Mitch knows Faith is back in town but avoids her since she left town abruptly and broke his heart. Mitch and Faith decide they need to talk about what happened all those years ago. When Mitch realizes why she left and why she came back he realizes that he never quit loving her. This was a sweet and fast moving story. I really enjoyed it!

Nice forward progression in this relationship. My biggest hate here was the screw up on Anna and Beau--this proved a huge disconnect for me. I really don't like these kind of series collaborations and this kind of thing is why . I prefer when authors communicate to have seamless overlaps.

Mitch and Faith have the right kind of love.  Even after she left him with no explanation, after almost a decade of separation, and the flames exploded between them.  His was a fire that never went out.  Faith, though she tried to move on,  only needed to see the look in his eyes to bring the flames back to life. 

The real star was little Hope.  She is the most innocent, yet shining star with her personal fashion sense and her love of dance.   The deal is sealed in her eyes with the gift of Prince Alice.

Each book and main characters has had its own unique history.  The town gossip was on point.  I loved that time is a big part of this story.   No matter how long it has been,  home is where your heart is.

This was a great addition to this series. Living a little more than an hour from Billings, MT in REAL life I get a kick out of these books. Jakes is an excellent steakhouse downtown and Walkers is my favorite place to go for a night out. Fantastic cocktails! This story is very cute. I kept waiting for something bad to happen and or someone to get upset but it never really happened. Having married my HS sweetheart after a much shorter breakup it was fun to read about everything feeling new but familiar. I would totally agree. Faith and Mitch are just great together and little Hope is a doll. A fun little read on a hot summer day. Little romance, lots of love and respect.

This series is so interesting with the different author’s writing styles. Some are way more spicy (Molly McLain, “fans face”) and some are what I refer to as, not invited into the bedroom. This book was super sweet, especially Mitch. No real break up drama and the characters were mature and didn’t make silly immature decisions. The author didn’t overplay the town gossip, thankfully. That gets old and boring in some other books. The spice factor could have been elevated for me but what was there was ok.
