This is Piper Thorne's story, so you get the magic of the Thorne's with the bonus of taking place in Ireland. The O'Malley's are wonderful and I can't wait to read more about them. This is a lovely start to this series and I am looking forward to more.

If this is your first time reading TM Cromer, make sure you check out all of her Thorne series to familiarize yourself with the family. Her stories are charming, fun, and romantic. And then check out the Holt family series because there is a different sort of magic there.

I picked up Pints &Potions , book 1 of T.M Cromer's series Unlucky Charms, solely on the Title, the cover art and the setting. The title Pints & Potions spoke to my inner leprechaun and promised even without reading the synopsis to be full of magical shenanigans! The cover art is magnificent and had me dreaming of Ireland and hunky men with Irish accents who have kissed the Blarney Stone maybe a few too many times. And the setting- Ah! Be still my beating heart! Ireland has been on my bucket list since I was a child. Unfortunately I have been grounded, first by the pandemic and now by a hundred different financial obligations that make leaving the country improbable for a time. But never fear, I still travel in the pages of a good book! Travelling to Ireland through the pages of TM Cromer's books is not only economical it's comfortable! In Pints &Potions I was able to get lost in the magic of Ireland, completely ignoring my problems, without ever leaving my rocking chair! Just me, my tea, my scones and my dogs! No mess, No muss! Pints & Potions is a magical journey to the heart of magic. The scenery description is so vivid it is like teleporting. Through the magnificent wordsmithing of TM Cromer, I became a silent observer of all the characters and the story as they evolved.
TH Cromer's characters are so well-developed they seem to be as real as if they lived next door. I could easily imagine how they would think, speak and act before Ms. Cromer could tell me in words! I really wished I could experience this family for real!
The adventure was enough to keep me glued to my seat turning pages quickly to see how things would play out. Like the audience in an old fashioned melodrama, I cheered on the hero and heroine while I boo'd the villains. It was a wonderful respite from housework and family concerns!
The romance was perfectly balanced with the action. More than the gentle wind blowing curtains in an old Hollywood movie, where sex was just hinted at and full-blown erotica that leaves nothing to the imagination! Like a good cup of tea, it had just the right amount of heat!

I am so glad I stumbled on Pints & Potions. I fully intend to finish the series. If you would like to go on a magical mystery tour of Ireland, pick up TH Cromer's Pint & Potions. I couldn't fault my gracious tour guide, TH Cromer at all!

I ADORED this book! Everything! It checks all my boxes and then some. Be prepared to laugh, cry, curse, and applaud these characters. I want to read all their stories because the author makes you want to know it all. All of these characters had such love and banter and realness that made you relate to them. Of course, as a start to a series, it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger which normally infuriates me but this was artfully done so you feel closure as well as curiosity for the next bit because you know you will see everyone again in the next book because these two families are amazing.

This Irish paranormal romance has all the vibes from adventure to witches and warlocks, a charming pub owner, and some laugh-out-loud moments. Explore the magical side of Ireland with Piper and Cian as they battle unknown foes, Family curses, and their fears. This book is quite Irish romance and paranormal fiction. I love how well the author blended the two in the book.

Piper is swearing off men and heading to vacation in Ireland; she's a witch who dislikes using her magic. She is witty and has her heart set on being a mom in whatever way she can. Still, her biological clock is ticking, and she is also from a powerful magical family.

Cian is an astute and realistic Irish pub owner. He is smooth and lays the accent on heavy. He also seems to be a gentleman. He is a walking cliche, but see where the author goes with this.

This family Cian is a part of has had a feud for a long time with others in the and magically is having some issues as well. Tidbits are caught in conversation to direct this story more toward fiction than once, although I suspect it contains both.

They both have secrets, as well as some hot chemistry. I like the authors writing, mainly how it includes the accent and language of the locality in which the story is set. The magic is popping early with surprises. I like the character's pov and how it switches seamlessly. This book is funny and a little absurd but colorful. Both characters have their reasons and have opposite perspectives on relationships.

The author's randomness in this story cracks me up, like in chapter 13. That is just too good not to enjoy. I love the crazy bunch of people she calls family in this book. They are lively, intrusive, and magical. The riddle is intriguing and leads to more in this story than just the budding romance.

I love how this story reads like an interconnected stand-alone. Still, there are so many tidbits of info for each character and their significant others that I'm missing something, even though this is the first book in this series.

Admist the rollercoaster that is this story, we finally get a taste of a happy ending. Still, in the epilogue, we get the perspective of the evil people in the story. This book is part of a series, leading to the next step of the prophecy and more into the O'Malley family. I enjoyed this read but needed more to read further; however, I love that this had Irish romance and paranormal in one story.
