I loved everything about this book, especially the wounded hero trope! For two years, and after a tragic accident, Luca has been living in the dark. He was a recluse, he hardened his heart, and had pushed everyone away. Everyone but Dom, his right hand man. When Cassie entered his life she brought him back to life and saw beyond his scars and the anger he held. For everything she had been dealt by with her horrible parents, and doing everything she could to get her little brother back, she was still a ray of sunshine. She was strong and wasn’t a quitter.
This book was such a great read, there was so much I loved about it. Especially seeing the relationship between Cassie and Dom! It was strictly friendship, but it was special and touching. I loved when Luca walked in on their spa day! And I loved how Luca did whatever he could to get Jude back for Cassie and then adopted him.
Next up is Dom, and I can’t wait to dive into his story!

Being new to Ms.Angel's work i've been looking so forward to picking up her books! As soon as i found out about the Cosa Nostra books i knew i had to start here first! I really liked this first book!

Cassie and Luca's journey got my attention! I really liked how these two were brought into each other's lives and how i wasn't sure what all was going to happen in their story. I felt many things with both characters throughout!

With Broken Prince, Ms.Angel has created a good read! I am so looking forward to the rest of the books in this world!

Gianluca Montanari. It’s a name that has come along in The Syndicates series multiple times. (Should I have read the Cosa Nostra series before the Syndicates series? I don't know) Either way I always was intrigued to find out more about this high ranked mafia boss. He always came across as a fierce, strong and a little scary guy that didn’t take no for an answer. Now I finally got to read his story and what happened before he became this brooding, fierce and feared leader. At first I thought I was going in for a modern beauty and the beast retelling, but found out quickly enough there is more to it. If you love mafia romance , an age gap, a strong FMC, a tainted hero and touch her and die vibes, this book is all for you.
Gianluca has been through hell and back. Guilt eating him alive while he hides in the dark. He’s been hurt so badly, both physically as mentally and he spiraled. It got me all hyped up to see where this story would lead me and what would happen next. I fell hard for this tainted man. Cassie, our gorgeous FMC has been through her own hell recently but she’s so strong, so resilient, so determined to change the tide and create a better life. I truly and deeply admire her strength, her ability to still love and care and see through the broken cracks to reveal the men underneath. And then there’s Dom, a man who I’ve already met a couple of times in the other series. And believe me when I say he surprised me.
