I read this book because the love I had for this authors very first release, Lucky Cove, and wow am I glad I did!

Not only was it so incredibly well written, but the characters were believable and real. I loved how our FMC actually seemed to react like a real person might in her situation.

Not everyone is instantly a badass, so I really appreciated that she went a different way than most authors tend to go.

The story itself is intriguing and captivating. Serafina has a beautifully intricate way of creating a world and storyline that you can fall into and forget reality.

I can't wait to devour the next one! Please, please, please, make it happen soon!

Little did she know that the experiences at the bar she works at would be the least startling of her new life. Serafina winds the perfect blend of intrigue, heat, and emotionally deep characters that have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. And screaming at the heavens when you get to "THE END." Can't wait for the next one!

This is one of the most refreshing PNR books I have read in quite a while. The way Serafina flushes out the characters so you become invested in them is brilliant. Addelyn coming into her own abilities and finding her fated mates even though she doesn’t fully understand everything as of yet. The push and pull of good and evil was spectacular. Can’t wait for the next one in the series.

I struggle with these types of main characters. She’s constantly crying, freezing in fear and huddling on the floor in a ball. She spends more time denying everything than trying to figure it out. Clearly she’s going to be this all powerful guardian but how the author will reconcile the dichotomy in a believable way is beyond me. She’s a whimpering mess with a martyr streak a mile long. I struggled to get 90% through the book and then I quit. There is a lot, and I do mean a lot, of yelling, screaming, and aggression as well. I wanted to punch all the characters for most of the book. See, it even got to me.

Deamham City follows Adelyn as a chance interview leads to her meeting Diesel which leads her to question what is reality and what is in her imagination. I really enjoyed reading this book, it is plot heavy and the plot and characters are developed throughout the book. The story is addictive and the ending has left me looking forward to reading the next book. I also liked that all the characters were broken in their own ways and it appears that by coming together they are starting to heal and I look forward to see this continuing. Overall, a great book that I really enjoyed and would recommend reading.

Honestly, I don’t know whether to laugh, cry, scream or rant to the high heavens. I absolutely ADORE this book!

I waited on tenterhooks for this to come out and I can tell you, it was definitely worth the wait! The amount of depth to this series is insane. It holds you captive from the very start, drawing you in and sinking its claws into you.

The character development is so natural that you often forget that you are reading and the development of these relationships...well let’s say, there is a normal everyday spice added into a non-ordinary world. It is refreshing to see normal struggles and strife, instead of all prettiness or awkward girl drama that usually comes with these types of books.

Adelyn doesn’t know who she is, although she knows there is something else to her that meets the eye. With every off occurrence, her thoughts are confirmed, yet never explained or confirmed. Moving from one knife’s edge to the other, Adelyn’s story is filled with suspense, love and so, so much hotness!!

From the fiery Big-D, who definitely lives up to his name, to the protective and sweet Bowen. From steamy alpha A-hole Mazrik, to the very sophisticated nerd and drool worthy Kaynan, I can tell you now...you will not be disappointed!

Although this book leaves you with a lot of unanswered questions, it just makes you want to demand the second book even more. I honestly cannot wait until the next one comes out to assuage my book hangover!
