ACCIDENTALLY YOURS is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are a few sexy scenes if that is an issue for you. Set in New Zealand, the south island in the lakeside town of Itirangi. A small town that is quickly becoming a tourist attraction.

Aria is a journalist on the local paper and she is up for a promotion. She just needs the next big story to get readers excited. She gets word that a big developer is coming to town and plans to set up a shopping mall. She immediately jumps on it to get all the info she can so the people can know what is going on. Naturally the town is divided.

Elijah is the CEO of his development company. He is wealthy, smart, a little on the snobby side but he is determined to make this mall a reality. He finds out who is stirring up trouble and plans to put a stop to her. But, when he meets her things take on a different light. It isn't long before Elijah is hot for the lady reporter. But money can't buy everything or can it?

This is a great story. With over 1,000 reviews, not much chance anyone will see this but I want the author to know how much I liked her book and thanks to her friend, Serenity Woods, I have found another good New Zealand writer. This story is very entertaining with a lot of fun times. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it.

Elijah Lockwood owns Lockwood Holdings Limited. He is a real estate developer who plans on building a shopping center and motel in Itirangi. It would bring more tourists but might hurt the local businesses. His office is in Aukland but he ends up making time to personally go to Itirangi.

Aria is going to investigate and write a series of articles about the new real estate development and Elijah. Both have been humiliated in their past personal lives.

I loved watching their relationship unfold.

This rated more like 3.5 stars for me. I couldn't really get into the characters. Eli, who is supposed to be a hard-nosed businessman, let his parents walk all over him. His parents were nothing but stereotypes. It made no sense when his mother turned around toward the end. His father's character wasn't fleshed out at all. Neither was Eli's younger sister's. She was a rebellious teen, but quickly came around because of Aria's influence. It seemed too easy. Aria's actions were all over the place. First, she wanted to keep her distance from Eli, but then she was inviting him to get physical with her. Eli and Aria's back-and-forth relationship got a bit tedious. When Aria came to Eli to let him know she loved him and he blew her off because he was working on his plan to win her back--that was just plain stupidity on his part, not what I would expect from a smart businessman. The ending was satisfying though. There were few grammatical errors, although the author did refer to Eli as Ethan once.

I loved everything about this book.
When I first started reading, I couldn't figure out what made me choose it, I have a bad habit of getting a bunch of books, reading thru them, then choosing more, before I take a break and game for a time, coming back maybe days later.
So it kinda confused me, however, the minute I clicked on the real Kiwi feeling I was sold. Such honest home town reality made me so homesick.
I will admit I felt a little sad the author doesn't have a cat, but I guess perfection is hard, I laughed at the comment regarding her dog.
Recommend the HEA, even though I dislike hearing about them in advance, this one is a keeper.
Thanks, I will be reading more. Really, really appreciated the rescue kitten.
