This book was SOOOOOO goooood!!! The author did a fantastic job creating this series so far and I am excited to read the next book! I love a good vampire romance but a RH vampire book is even better especially with all that sexual tension. I started this book and had it finished in one afternoon because I couldn’t put it down.

The main character Piper is snarky, sarcastic, and has plenty of witty comebacks which was hilarious to read, especially when she is firing off snarky retorts to her 6 vampire bosses. I can tell that this series will be like an enemy to lovers type romance with a few of the vampires. So far, I love all of the 6 vampire brothers even though we don’t read much about Marcus and Allistair but I’m sure that will change in upcoming books.

This is a slow burn with some heavy sexual tension... oh my god, I haven’t read a book with this good of sexual tension in a long time. It makes me even more eager for the next book. The little problem of Valentine and Theresa has provided a little bit of drama to Piper’s new life as a maid which I am sure will become a much bigger problem as the series continues.

I picked this one up for an evening read and found it entertaining.
The tale follows a young woman, who due to money issues, takes a job as a maid at a large estate. Once there, it's clear things aren't the way they should be. There are only 2 other staff members, and the five gentleman in the house lead odd lives. She rarely sees them during daylight hours, each one has a difficult personality quirk, and the one other live-in help calls them 'master' and shows obvious extreme respect for them. Several of the men are more than flirting with her, and while she is attracted to some of them, the extremely wild parties they seem to hold...and she's not allowed to witness more than their aftermaths...keep her guard up on high. But the secret they are holding is one she would have never expected.

It's a pretty clear set-up on the reverse harem end and does follow several of the cliches found in the genre. Yet, there are some original twists. While there is an instant attraction to one guy, the others stay further away, and she is not attracted right away to every single one. The tale does hang heavy on the developing relationships, but there is a dark undertone and enough secrets to keep that from completely taking over.

There are some more graphic moments but unlike many romances, these are handled originally, and definitely do not jumping into anyone's bed or giving in to her desires. She does stupid things but keeps her wits about her, too. There are romantic ties growing, but even when desires might be instant, it's more slow burn than I would have expected. But I appreciate that. It allows the difficulty of the situation she's in to remain realistic (-ish, obviously), and doesn't let her come across as a pushover.

Toward the end of this one, the plot takes on more importance and adds some twists, which promise intriguing battles to come. Some of this was a bit vaguely handled, but it works enough to raise the curiosity of where everything will go next. Because there's obviously much more coming, which will raise the stakes quite a bit.

I like it a lot. Excited to finish the series. It does sort of feel like the neverland reverse harem books but with vampires. No complaints here, though!

This was an okay read. This book could have had more potential, especially with 6 gorgeous male vampires. However, it fell short and it ends on a: CLIFFHANGER!

Piper just couldn’t keep a job. She is referred to a job as a maid. She knows that this is her last referral from the temp agency, so she doesn’t have a choice.

Upon her arrival she meets with a very stern butler (Darren) and being the clumsy
person that she is, she knocks over an expensive vase. This makes her indebted to her employers. Unbeknownst to her, there isn’t one employer, but six (all in one house).

Piper is given a list of rules and during her stay, Piper is determined not to do what the other maids had done. Which was to become involved with one of the brothers. However, it’s hard when they keep using their powers to seduce her.

** I’m trying to decide if I want to waste money on getting the other books in this series, which you have to read, in order to find out the conclusion to Piper and the vampire brothers demise.

Great start to a new series. Piper has lost her cushy job and is having to sleep in her car. She is on the last job the temp agency will send her on as she has been too picky until now. She arrives for an interview and first thing she does is break a priceless vase. Things can only go up from there; or can they?

Piper is another in Ms. Bedford’s line of female protagonists. She has a take no prisoners attitude that gets her into trouble. There are 5 brothers that each is yummier than the last. This is more of an intro book, setting up things for the series to follow. Most of the characters are well fleshed out as is the world they live in. A definite must read.

Piper needs a job so she joins a temp agency. They assign her to the Durand home as a maid. She first meets Wynn and cannot stop thinking about him. There are six brothers who live in the house. Piper finds all six brothers sexy and intriguing in their own way. The oldest is Antoine and he is head of the household. The rest of the brothers are Marcus, Wynn, Draconius (Drake), Allister, and Rayne.
Piper accidentally finds out that they are vampires. She is a little scared and decides to leave. Antoine convinces her to stay. She has many sexual fantasies involving the brothers. Towards the end she meets Valentine who is from their Sires’s house. He is not a nice person/vampire. The book was a fun and entertaining read. There were some hilarious moments. The interactions with the characters were witty and sizzling. The author has created wonderful characters. The story flows well with an ending that leaves you wanting to read the next book. I definitely look forward to book two in this series.

I'm not really sure about this book. I liked it well enough to buy the second but there it just petered out. Might contain SPOILERS!

Piper is fun and vibrant and quirky. She stumbles into the Durand household like an accidental breeze, digging herself into a hole but being determined to make it right. The male Durands, all vampires, fall heads over heels for their new maid.

And that is where I'm a bit lost. Yes, I like Piper. I just don't really know why the men do. It seems to boil down to her scent. That's... not enough for a romance in my eyes. It's a shame really, because I see potential for this story if only there was more true "falling in love because of this and that".

This is a slow burn romance which I usually don't mind at all but when we get the first sex at the end of book 2 it was truly underwhelming. (The m/m sex before this is even less.)

Also, what is it with the m/m sex between one of the vampires and their human servant? Definitely nobody is gay but they are having sex anyway because they... vaguely like sex with each other and are bored? Dear author, there is such a thing as bisexual and it is totally ok for your characters to be it. Making them have sex only because of some magical bond with a power imbalance is, on the other hand... ugh! It also smacks a bit of putting Piper above Darren because she delivers f/m sex.

Love Erin Bedford. She is a brilliant author and I love reading everything she writes. Her characters and world building drags you in and holds you and her storytelling wraps you up and doesn’t let you go. She is amazing. You laugh and you cry and your heart melts and breaks in all the feels that she leaves you with. I’m so glad I took the recommendation in a readers group to pick up her books. I haven’t regretted it once and I have now read everything she has written.

This is a quick-paced vampire romance with a quirky cute FMC and six strapping vampires in need of some help around the …mansion. I laughed and swooned, growled at Rayne…all the things.
