Nice story with many interesting characters. I like the clock scenes. I thought it was quite weird that family members would borrow Darby's car while she was at work without permission-I wondered how she didn't notice that there was less gas in the car than when she got to work. Her boss is a total jerk, as is Chad's dad, stepmother and ex-girlfriend. I wanted to cheer when Chad's grandfather put his son and wife in their place. I did have a little trouble believing that an accountant with a head for numbers would voluntarily pay for their supposed boyfriend's flight and other costs, so was happy when she came to her senses.

Darby Elliott was CPA for Hooper and Rhode Accounting.

While waiting at Los Angeles International Airport.  For her boyfriend, Benjamin to arrive from London, U.K.  A young man with beautiful blues & blonde hair, spilling hot coffee on Darbys silk blouse.

While waiting for Benjamin, he asked Darby have lunch with him.  His name was Chad George.  Chad steak, baked potatoes with butter.  Darby order tomato soup for lunch.  

Later Darby Elliott was asked to to the Rio Grade Ranch, because he wanted his books looked at.  This she met Chad George, again.  His Grandfather asked for Darby Elliott come to the ranch.

There too characters in this good book to list.

But you read this good to end.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Darby is a top of the line accountant who doesn't really like her job. While waiting at the airport for her English boyfriend, a man next to her accidentally spills coffee on her, which winds up changing her entire life and career.

What a fabulous story! Darby is a CPA, a very good one, but not so good at relationships. After promising herself she is done with men, she meets Chad, the grandson of a client, and she notices him. Of course, he has a long time girlfriend. Family, friends and exes insist on getting involved in her life, and everyone else's life as well. Confusion, chaos and love reign.
