This is the first book in a new series called Wolf Elite. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from beginning to end. There's action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense, twist/turns, secrets, blackmail, enemies, violence/abuse (domestic), romance, passion/lust and love.
This is the story of a soldier, our H, who was bitten and is now a half-hybrid wolf who is trying to come to terms with the situation. Our h is the daughter of a businessman, is a pure-blood wolf shifter and enaged to a blackmailer. These two (H/h) meet in a club and spend the night together but the h runs when she realuzes that he's her mate. Add into the mix a wolf shifter blackmailing her because her father borrowed money from him and makes for an interesting story.
Read to find out what happens. Can't wait to read the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and this review is my own opinion.

Leaving his old life in Florida behind, he travels to New York , where he hopes to start a new beginning. A chance meeting at a bar shows him that things might not be so bad after all .
Celine is a purebred shifter at a club with her friend . On a dare , she flirts with the hybrid across the room. Not knowing that both of their lives are about to change .
I loved the characters, and the story , and the way everything flowed . Am looking forward to the next book !!

Going from elite trained humans to things that go bump in the night, they must now learn to control their inner wolves and co-exist as one. Trying to salvage what's left of his heart, he heads to the "Big Apple". There, he encounters Nirvana in the shape of Celine who's a mixture of sultry, sweet and sophistication all wrapped in a curvy, hot body. Out for a girls night of freedom, from her life's choice which are slowly squeezing the joy out of her. Celine encounters what so few pure blooded wolves experience and all hope for... The first book in the Operation Wolf in a series which has started out very promising. There aren't too many characters so, the relatively small amount of pages (more Novella type than book) doesn't leave you feeling cheated. We get to meet a couple of his friends and of course the always necessary "bad guy" in this instance evil wolf and the damsel who is a bit in distress. My one complain was there could have been a bit more action between Gunner and Carter, everything was over a bit too pat, but as it's the first I'll reserve my outright objections. Altogether, an interesting start for a series, that I won't have a problem reading the next installment of. Try it.

Great reading. You never know what is going to happen when you are in the service. Gunner's team unfortunately ran into hybrid wolves that bit them and made them into hybrids too. They were saved by a rival group of hybrid wolves that taught them the basics. The whole unit was honorary discharged due to PTSD. Gunner went back to his fiancee and showed her what he was now and she threw him out. He calls his buddy in New York to start over and passes all the tests to be a security guard at a museum.
His buddy decides to take him out to celebrate and Gunner runs into a full blooded wolf that lost a bet to her friend about going and flirting with Gunner. Celine and Tamara had recognized that Gunner was a hybrid but Gunner didn't know what Celine was until she told him. They leave the bar for a one night stand cause Celine has been blackmailed into marrying Caleb, another full blooded wolf but Gunner isn't aware of any of this.
Read what happens that night to change their lives forever.

This is the first book in the Wolf Elite series. I found it to be a fast read and held my interest throughout. It is Gunner and Celine's story.
Gunner has come to New York to start a new job. His life has been disrupted since he and his fellow soldiers are attacked by wolves. They have all become hybrid wolves. His friend takes him to a club where he meets Celine.
Celine is the daughter of a rich businessman and a pure-blooded wolf shifter. She has come to the club to get away from her unwanted husband to be. She runs away when she realizes Gunner is her true mate.
How will these two ever get to be together? Will a pure-blood ever be able to mate a hybrid? I am looking forward to reading the other stories in the series. I give the story 5 stars.
