Sweetness is the perfect title for this book because that's exactly what it is. Full of heart, full of humor, and full of hotness, this book is an easy 5 stars for me. With an engaging storyline, relatable characters, and endearing writing I was into it from the first page to the last. I couldn't put it down, and when I finally had to I was sad it had to end.
Ainsley was tough as nails and I enjoyed her so much because we don't see many heroines out there like her. She was driven and focused, and her resilience was really inspiring. I loved her sass and her snark. But I also loved when she put her guard down and showed how caring, compassionate, and vulnerable she could really be.
Cade was so much fun to read. He was so unpredictable and I found myself laughing out loud at his antics, anecdotes, and overall personality. He was cocky sometimes but always in an endearing way often making me want to slap him upside the head and swoon at the same time. I never knew what he was going to say out of his month and that made reading him exciting.
Together Ainsely and Cade were super sweet one minute and making you want to hashtag relationship goals and then five alarm five hot the next minute making you want a cold glass of water. I enjoyed their build up. The chase and then when caught how their relationship developed. Their chemistry was undeniable and their connection was truly genuine.
Sierra Hill has an incredible tone to her writing that I just adore. It's funny without trying too hard and has a natural pace and flow to it that makes reading really enjoyable. If this book was a game winning shot, it would absolutely be nothing but net. I highly recommend it.
