I got to meet Saharra at a writers meeting and when I heard she was releasing a romance series infusing African, Caribbean & American characters in exotic destinations, I knew I had to snag this book.

Wow. So glad I did. It's well written (of course) and just the right size for a fun night's read. The characters are well fleshed out despite it being a novella & you genuinely root for the heroes. The adventure has just enough tension to keep you on the edge & the sex scenes are not without being cringe. Great fun & I want more. Luckie, her sci-fi books are available so, pardon me while I go order those too.

Did you love Romancing the Stone? That is personally, one of my fave movies from the 80s and this book has such a similar vibe.
