Mary Crawford has been lucky enough to live her own version of a romance novel. She’s married to the guy who kissed her at summer camp. He told her on the night they met that he was going to marry her and be the father of their children. Eventually, she stopped giggling when he said it and he had the last laugh as they celebrate three decades of marriage.

They have two children. The oldest is a Doctor of Osteopathy. He is across the United States completing his residency, but when he’s done, he is going to come back to Oregon and practice Family Medicine. Their youngest son is in high school and hopes to be an EMT when he grows up.

Mrs. Crawford writes full time now. She has written and published over thirty books and has several more underway.

She volunteers her time to a variety of causes and has worked as a Civil Rights Attorney and diversity advocate. Mrs. Crawford spent many years working for various social service agencies before becoming an attorney.

In her spare time, she loves to cook, decorate cakes and of course, obsessively, compulsively read.

Wow! I want MORE! Loved it! I hope I can find more like this to read. This was new to me.

I read these this weekend and really enjoyed them. They are clean and wholesome romances, no sex scenes beyond kissing. I really like how matter-of-factly the author handles real life issues like OCD, depression & suicide - most especially the honest & different effects on those left behind.

What I loved the most was that the characters are more like real people than in most romances. They have realistic quirks & phobias, some have mental health challenges. Even though they follow the standard "meet, misunderstand, reconcile for happily-ever-after", these books are stories about believably real characters with real challenges in their daily lives. One of the men is a billionaire, but in a way I could see happening to a couple of my high school classmates.

I didn't like the bonus novella as much as the novels, solely because of the military references. I'm a stickler for precise terminology & it throws me out of the story when it's incorrect. It's still a sweet story. The hero is a side character from one of the novels & I was thrilled to learn his love story. I loved the way accessibility issues & mobility challenges are addressed. My personal pet peeve is not a big enough negative to lower my rating of this box set. I look forward to reading more books by this author!

Inventive collection featuring people outside the usual from a perspective of occupations and hobbies. While the stories contain a connection of characters each becomes a stand alone take with depth and surprises if its own. Painting the picture of each individual reveals how quickly they find how closing outside the lines creates the perfect balance and how two can become one with strength increasing instead detracting from the individual

After the title, does anything more need to be said? 3 novels and a novella, each one featuring a couple that you wouldn’t expect to fit with each other..and yet who finds the person who complements and completes them.

I just loved this novella. The realism of this young woman finding and making this romance work was accurate and romantic. This is the first story I have read that treated Sams cerebral palsy as just like his beautiful eyes- just another part of him.

Identity of the Heart:
I loved this introduction to the series. It was incredible and intricate. I was super pumped that we got more than one love story between these pages. I cannot wait to read all of the future stories in this series.

Sheltered Hearts:
This was a sweet story with good characters. We got to see the characters from the previous book as well as meeting a bunch of new characters. There was a high level of dog interaction also, along with some crime and some search and rescue moments.

Hearts of Jade:
I loved this story. The characters, their occupations, their families and the trials they face.. it was all super impactful and well put together. I couldn’t put the book down! This series is awesome. Each book is standalone but you see the characters returning and reading them together it’s just like one big family.

Port in the Storm:
A sweet and simple, peripheral novella with aspects of domestic abuse, the navy, and disabilities. Solid, genuine characters, with a touch of romance and crime.
