I really enjoy this Author and I think that this story line has really good potential and I love the strong female characters but some of the love scenes were a little cringe and corny... this could be because I'm not a teenager. I also love that she gets accepted by the group but it feels like they accepted her as family a little easily without much development to explain why. Overall its a good book and I look forward to reading the next one.

When is Books started it kind of reminded me of Peter Pan because of Veronica being afraid of a shadow. I thought that was kind of odd but she was also a child at the time and thought she saw something in her room. Now Veronica is going to see if she can’t find her sister who ran off with her boyfriend. She supposed to be at this university Veronica gets there she finds out that there are actually vampires and werewolves in the world. I felt like I missed something in this book because it seem like Veronica was only there for a day and then all of a sudden she’s there for over a week, the people that she staying with act like they’ve known her for years, and she’s so hot for this one vampire that they end up together. She practically threw her self at him. It was like reading a teenage romance. And I didn’t like the way it ended though because it was definitely a cliffhanger. I’m going to read the next book in this series just because I want to find out what type of person Veronica is. I don’t believe she is human by the way this book ended.
