I'm a retired 43-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, all things Marvel and Harry Potter.

I was a teen mom with a whole world of statics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.

Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.

After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.

This is my first time reading this author and to say that she has a great and vivid imagination ,is absolutely true, but this story also has crazy wild twists and turns. Abel has been waiting several years to be able to marry Dylan and they finally take their chance and go to Vegas. Dylan and her twin sister Dorian were kidnapped when they were fifteen and sadly they didn't know that there mom, Dahlia had a heart defect and passed away right after she called her husband Satan. Dylan got away from the kidnappers but sadly Dorian didn't and was raped and beaten by the Cuban cartel, where she met Wilfredo the son. He was not into the same sadistic games as his father and uncle and he went undercover for the FBI. Like I said earlier, twist and turns and a few surprises as well. Satan has missed his wife since she passed five years ago, but there was a party for the girls birthday at the clubhouse and a tiny violet eyes woman was there also and Satan and her had a brief moment and then later on she goes to his room to help with his headache from being hit by a baseball bat. Abel - MorningStar MC Book 1 is a phenomenal page-turner! It pulled me in from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down. It’s action packed from the very first page and never lets up. This book kept me guessing from beginning to end.

What I loved most about the way the author has written this story was that even though this is technically Abel and his new wife, Dylan’s story. We were restricted to only them and their POV, no the author also gave us great inside to the club, friends, and family members as well even some chapters in a few others POV.

I can’t wait to start book 2 and see what other surprises are in store from the MorningStar MC.

While I did enjoy the story and the characters tremendously, all the mistakes took A LOT away from this book. It wasn’t just spelling errors, it was the fact that the wrong words were in the book. They did not make sense! I had to decipher & decode what the writer was trying to say. Don’t know if it’s a language barrier but saying “trunk” instead of “truck”, “morse” instead of “morose”, “lends” instead of “leans” and what was “shiny”? Punctuation is an issue as well. I’m not sure what the dialogue all is with the missing quotation marks.

I’ll say this, I’m on book two and it seems to have gotten worse.

Please, please, PLEASE get a few good betas, an alpha and an editor. All these mistakes are destroying your hard work. It could have easily been a 5 star book, but man, there’s so many errors!

Almost done with book 2 and am hoping it’ll be better in 3… if I get that one. It’s sad, the rest of the book is fantastic but these multiple errors are wrecking the whole experience for your readers. These two books seriously need to be cleaned up if you’re looking to keep dedicated readers and fans. Hopefully it’ll get better or I’ll have to call it quits soon. I want to know more about the other characters but is it worth it?

D. Williams is a new to me author and I am hooked! Love how she has the MorningStar MC a legitimate club. They are all about family and helping others.

We have Dylan the daughter of the Prez and love interest to Able. They elope and get married and all kinds of stuff happens ( you have to read this book).

Love the introduction of all the brothers and don’t forget about Dorian sister to Dylan.

Definitely pick up this series if you love MC romance, this is so different from the ones I always read(dark), which is great that this is more laid back but still Steamy 🔥🔥🔥

Abel & Dylan have been in love since Dylan was 17 & she is almost 20 when they get eloped in LV to get married. They are in the midst of their wedding night when Dylan’s past shows up to kill her. They take him down & regroup at the clubhouse. They find out it is the Colombians that kidnapped her & her sister when they were 15. They start to work on finding them. The kidnapper gets Dylan’s sister & takes her to Cuba.

This book has a HEA for Abel & Dylan, however, it does leave a lot of questions unanswered regarding the MC, etc.
