Racing the AI becomes more and more challenging and they will really race you for track position and to the line when push comes to shove. It is a lot of fun pack racing and being aggressive. Is this a super realistic sim? No, and it never said it was trying to be but it comes close enough for what it is and is accessible for a lot of people. I don't have the money or time for iracing for example and this is a great way for me to easily enjoy a night of racing after work and dive into a season.
If you want a good look at what I'm trying to say Jeff Favignano on YouTube has had a similar experience. He loves the game play and he is a sim guy.[...]
All I know is I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with it so far and my first race I even had a few doubts. But as I played it more and more I've become hooked. If you didn't enjoy it that's fine and I'm sorry to hear it, but if you haven't gotten this game yet don't think that it is as horrific as everyone says it is. Definitely worth a try. Probably a 7/10 for this game as a standard review, but my personal experience with it has gone beyond that.
Note I haven't gone online yet if you were hoping for insight there. This has been my single player experience.
