Getting close to the ideal waterproof bootie.
I bought these to replace an older pair of Teva waterproof booties - de la vina. These Ellery booties are pretty good, but not as comfortable as the De la Vina. I also prefer the style of the de la vina. The Ellery are a bit higher and can rub the ankle/lower leg. I ordered the dark olive and the black. The dark olive was a nice subtle color, but were much stiffer than the black; and rubbed my ankle uncomfortably. I had a trip upcoming so I ended up keeping the black and wearing them a bit. I loosened up the ankle leather with my hands; so with socks protecting my ankles they work. Without socks, I may still get chaffing until they soften more. The insoles are supportive and comfortable, typically I add superfeet inserts for extra comfort in boots, but I am using these without. In conclusion, I will give these 4 stars, but I am tempted to keep searching for the perfect five star pair of waterproof Chelsea style boots.

This has to be my 5th purchase of any Teva boot style (I have bought MANY copies of 5 styles), and when I saw this new one, I had to try. And it's a keeper, just like all the other styles. It's a perfect height. It's a tiny bit higher than the low Teva boots and a tiny bit lower than the next higher boots (note that neither of these heights are available on Amazon anymore, which says to me that this is a new style). And it's true to size, as always with any Tevas I've bought the past 5+ years. Comfortable from the get go, waterproof, stylish but still functional in adverse conditions, so, geez. I'm in love all over again with Teva giving us women out in the field footwear that works.

These were the only ones that checked off the fit and features I wanted. I take an 8.5 M, nothing unusual. These fit (8.5) my foot with socks like a glove. They are quality made, grippy sole for ice and snow (without looking like foot tires), stylish and versatile for wear with skirts, dresses, pants and leggings. I also like the 1.5" heel.

These are absolutely beautiful boots. I have never bought a green boot the color is in my opinion neutral enough to go with many colors of clothing. You need to break these boots in they are a leather and are well made. I had to return them due to the footbed being just a tad to narrow for my upper foot bed. I would not recommend then for women who have any typ of bunions. I can not find anything that compares to the beauty of these boots. If your more on the narow side in the footbed these would be a good match if you like this syle.

I couldn't find this review for myself so I'm sharing for future people. The boots are beautiful, first of all. And they seem like they'd be quite comfortable if they fit you. I am a plus size woman with larger ankles and pudgier feet and I could not even get my foot inside of the boot. I do wear boots from regular stores pretty often, so I am not so large that I cannot fit in boots, but these seemed very narrow and inaccessible.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this purchase as a long-time Teva customer! I bought these at a discount through the Amazon Warehouse due to its “cosmetic defects” under the “good condition” status. Three slight scrapes that will happen will normal wear anyways. Save yourself several tens (about $60) and explore other options other than “Excellent Condition”. Quality is not lost. At. All!

I bought a strapping 8.5 and wear Yuedge hiking socks with them. The fit is comfortable. However, these are leather boots and do require some shaping and molding. Double, or triple, your socks for a few days and walk around to stretch to your perfect fit. They are indeed waterproof, as seen by the snow blitz we had a few days ago here in the South. The boots dried without a mark! These have excellent traction for your everyday needs. Additionally, the zipper (located on the inner side of the boot) makes it easy to slip on and off.

My ONLY complaint about these boots are the insoles. They are not over-pronation (flat foot) friendly. There is little to no arch support, but they are removable. I have insoles that assist with my arch needs and have no intention of returning them.
