Oh, the stories only a vagina can tell. And they are told in She-ology – the new go-to book about everything vagina. Dr. Sherry Ross’ twenty-plus year career as an OB-GYN and a v-card carrying member give this book a unique, expert voice. It contains a plethora of knowledge including: how to properly clean your vagina, how to protect you and your partner from sexually transmitted diseases, the dreadful C, birthing, fertility, the tween vagina, the shy vagina, the unavoidable aging vagina, and of course, the big O.

Dr. Sherry takes the reader on her rounds with you as she conveys conversations with patients where the tales are as wide as a pair of legs in stirrups. Her warmth comes across in her storytelling treating each word like she does her patients with great care, intellect, respect and humor. She-ology is a must read for women of all ages and any man who cares about women. Oh, to have had this book forty years ago! Dr. Sherry has written a uniquely comprehensive book about the vagina. It's funny, illuminating, and no matter your life stage, you'll find plenty of relatable stories. The chapter's titles (i.e. Glamorous V, Purring V, Benched V, etc.), are wonderful and the drawings representing each chapter are perfectly charming. Most of all, Dr. Sherry's voice is authentic, brave, and incredibly informed. One can't help but feel she's looking out for your well-being. It's hard to imagine that a book about vaginas would be a page turner, but it was indeed. I read it cover to cover in one sitting! Buy this book as a gift for your mother, your daughters, and your friends. And don't be shy about lending your own copy to your significant other.

I purchased this book on my wife's behalf. She's in her mid-40's and entering perimenopause. While she looked extensively online, there simply isn't a lot of credible health and wellness information for women. And very little of it is provided by a trusted physician, let alone a female OB/GYN.

She-ology delivered. It provided the insight and expertise my wife was seeking. And she loved that it was an easy read (she could skip directly to the chapters that were relevant for her). She liked it so much that she insisted I read it too. I'll be honest, I haven't studied it cover-to-cover but I did read the chapters that were important to her and I find I have a deeper appreciation for what she's experiencing physically and mentally. We both highly recommend this book for women of all ages (and the men who care enough to understand them).

I was so excited to get this book after it was referenced by my OB/GYN professor for PA school, however it arrived in less than ideal condition. The package itself looked terrible, almost ripped open. The book's paper cover was ripped and scuffed in numerous areas. As a bit of a book snob, I'm pretty disappointed as I loved the way it looked in the picture and now it already looks damaged before I've even opened it. :(

Es beantwortet die vielen Fragen bezüglich des weiblichen Körpers, die man nie offen fragt. Ich konnte es nicht weglegen. Es ist so interessant und humorvoll geschrieben. I have not yet finished the book and I can confidently say it is utter rubbish.

1 - I didn't learn much new and certainly nothing that cannot be found on the internet for free. And there was me thinking I would find out a whole ton of new and exciting information!

2 - I didn't appreciate the stories and anecdotes from the "celebrity" friends and patients of Dr Ross. It honestly doesn't impress me at all!

3 - She pushes vaccines and medication at every opportunity which was yet another disappointment in the book.

All in all, this book will not end up in my bookshelf as I can't imagine I will want to read it again or refer to it. I am thinking that all the 5 star reviews came from clients or friends.
