Dogs love it!
After reading several of the favorable reviews, I decided to get the GripSoft slicker brush, model #65002. My Lab/Aussie mix and my German Shepherd love this brush, they actually wait for their turns to be brushed. The soft rubber cushion the brush teeth are set in and the bent angle of the teeth are set so there is less of a chance to prick your dogs skin. This brush gets a lot of the under coat off my dogs and their fur looks great. I am so pleased with this brush that I plan on buying another for later use.

This is comfortable for ME to use and hold. My dogs did not seem to mind it and they were done in under a minute using this. I bought this and it is a nice brush, but I have corgis and this fills up very quickly! I bought the under coat rake from JW which I LOVE! I bought this to go with it for a more fine outer coat brushing and it works well, but not great for shedding dogs with long hair. I will say, my dogs enjoyed being brushed with it and it is lightweight and feels great when holding it!

I love JW products and this is a good brush, would probably be great for non shedding!

This is an exact replacement - other than that our original was gray - for our years-old JW slicker brush.

It's just the right size for our smallish short-haired 10-year old black kitty, who LOVES being brushed with this.

And it removes an amazing amount of hair; our previous brush was showing its age - but this one went right to work, leaving behind the hairs which wanted to stay, and an astoundingly sleek coat.

A reverse brush on your palm will unload that wad of hair it collects, nicely agglomerated, for your disposal and continuation of massaging YOUR kitty.

We had this same brush for 4 years with our golden doodle and it always worked perfectly and felt sturdy in my hands. I accidentally ran it over with our car so it finally broke. I started looking for cheap slicker brushes, didn’t like what I saw so decided to just look up what I used to have. I was shocked that this was the cheapest slicker brush! It’s really great quality. I’m not a groomer but it has always worked to get burrs and other stickers out of my dog’s fur and I really like how solid it felt in my hands.

This isn’t our first purchase of this brush...they are the only ones that we have owed and actually wore out...two rough collies in the pack so they get a lot of use.
