What I had to do was a little harder. For those interested in a suspended fork, I needed a vise, # 8 All-Thread, # 8 by 32 nuts and washers, two 1 1/2 inch 90 degree corner brackets, and two stainless steel hose clamps. The process, bend in a vise the supplied rack bracket to fit the from fender mount hole, bend in a vise an S shape into one leg of the corner brackets. Cut and use the All-Thread and nuts for an adjustable mount until centered.
I use to have a full size touring motorcycle with a large Windjammer fairing, and that mounted to the frame with four stainless steel clamps. No problems on numerous transcontinental U S trips. So I think two clamps will suffice for this rack mount.
I like this rack very much. Functional, looks good and affordable.

Yes, I'd recommend this product and the supplier.
The one thing that prevented me from having this rack on in about twenty minutes is that they didn't include bolts to screw to the brake posts. I have a disc brake (so no brake bolt to use) and had to buy some for $0.91 each at the hardware store. They are M6x1.0
Other things to know: there is a removable light bracket included, has holes for fender attachment, rack is painted with a seemingly durable silver paint, big and strong enough to carry a twelve pack with appropriate rigging.
I like that it had 2 different brackets. I ended up breaking the first bracket as I was trying to bend it. The one I installed on my bike was the second bracket in the kit and worked much better and is thicker.
It was a bit cumbersome to put on, but well worth it. I am sure if the front rack was bike specific it would have been easier to install. It came with a couple of different bolts. I put the rounded flush mounted bolts on first (two bolts on the top side of the fender), but ended up changing them out during installation for the beefier bolts in the pic. They are not as flush, but don’t protrude off the fender much. Pic makes it look higher than they really are. Very happy with my purchase and hope the pics help. My my bike is a 2010 Trek 3 series.

It came with almost all of the parts needed, but I would have much preferred them to be all Allen head instead of the mix of Allen, Phillips, and hex. It is impossible to get a good torque with a Phillips head.
I wish it came with washers to spread out the force from the rather small M5 nuts.
Also, the plastic locking nuts (nylock?) are tedious to thread on. I replaced all locking nuts with conventional nuts, and when I go to the hardware store next, I will replace all fasteners with Allen head.
Negatives aside, this is a good deal for under $20 and worth the effort of getting new fasteners.
The biggest hurdle is that my daughter's bike has disc breaks, so it doesn't have the rim breaks it's designed to mount on. I was inspired by a few reviewers who figured out how to make it work using P-clamps.
The install was easy enough and it's quite sturdy. Perfect throne worthy of the Wald 137 basket zip-tied on. Fits her backpack as hoped.
