Product Description
Note:
- When any of the control buttons are turned on, even if no devices are being charged, there will still be a certain amount of no-load power consumption. Therefore, it’s recommended to turn off the control buttons after using them to avoid draining power.
- Use a solar charger with a 7.9 mm x 0.9 mm DC port.
- The max power output of the AC port is 300W. If you use the AC port for devices greater than 300W, PowerHouse will automatically turn off.
- 108,000mAh is the total nominal rated capacity of the internal battery cells.
- PowerHouse recharges via the DC and USB-C ports simultaneously until it reaches 81%, then the USB-C port automatically switches off and DC charging continues.
- If you feel that the battery drains fast when used for the first time, it is because the display information of the remaining power is inaccurate when the product is activated for the first time. The power remaining will automatically calibrate by discharging the battery to 1% and then recharging it to 100%.

Designed For Devices Under 300WPlease note that the AC outlet of PowerHouse II 400 only supports devices with a rating less than 300W. |
1. Can all the ports be used at the same time as it's charging?
Yes, all ports can be used at the same time when it is charging from the wall plug.
2. Any solar charger can charge this Powerhouse II 400?
Any (12V-28V) solar charger with DC 7909 Male connector can charge the Powerhouse II 400; No limitation for the current since our device will adapt to it automatically. Recharging will be faster at higher power ( support maximum 65W solar charging). We usually recommend customer to purchase a 100W solar charger with DC 7909 Male connector to charge the Powerhouse for full charging speed as the actual output wattage will be lower than the rated wattage due to light intensity
3. Will it lose charge automatically if we do not turn off the button?
When any of the control buttons are turned on, even if no devices are being charged, there will still be a certain amount of no-load power consumption. Please turn off the button when you do not use the Powerhouse.
4. How to store the Powerhouse if we do not use the Powerhouse for a long period?
To extend your battery's life:
1. Please charge up the Powerhouse around 75%, turn off all output button;
2. Discharge and recharge it at least once every 6-7 months.
3. Place your battery in a well-ventilated, dry place, away from moisture and high temperatures.

The battery in this unit is fantastic. Total capacity is 388 watt hours. It will power my ham radio and associated electronics for a day or more, and by plugging in a portable solar panel, I could potentially run off the grid indefinitely.
I really like the various charging and output options. It has a nice set of 12-volt outputs, including a cigarette lighter plug, and a couple of "barrel" connectors, all of which can be used simultaneously up to 120 watts max. It also has 3 classic USB 3 "IQ" output ports, plus a bi-directional USB-C port which allows both outbound charging as well as inbound charging. It also has a barrel connector for inbound DC charging (65-watt max), which is compatible with solar panel outputs as well as the supplied AC charger. One really nice feature is the ability to use both the USB-C and the DC input jacks simultaneously, which reduces charge time significantly by increasing the total charge to 100 watts. Lastly, it has a 300 watt AC inverter for powering classic AC devices. And, as an added bonus, you can charge and power devices at the same time.
Another really nice feature is the display, which gives you data on virtually everything that's going on with the device, including the amount of power being supplied, the amount of charging power coming in, and both remaining runtime as well as the time until full charge.
And if that wasn't enough, it also has a built-in LED flashlight plus a nice "warm light" floodlight, the former which can also be set to flash "SOS" in Morse code.
The only real fault I can find with this device is the handle, which is a fixed piece of plastic. It would be really nice if it were either removable or if it could be folded flat. Not a big deal for me but it does increase the space requirement by a couple of inches. On the positive side, however, it's really heavy duty.
I'm a big fan of Anker products and this device did not disappoint. If you're looking for an extremely versatile battery / solar generator, and don't mind the weight (10 pounds / 4.6 Kg), it's a great choice for the money.
Charging is a convenient factor of the device. It can be charged at up to 65w from the 8mm wall adapter, and 60w from the type-C port. Also, they can both supply power at the same time. Meaning that you can charge the device at up to 125w using both sources. Also worth noting, you can still use the device while charging! It negates the load you have connected out of the charging rate. Meaning that if you're charging at 65w, and you plug in a 30w load, you'll begin charging at 35w. Plus, if you have a Dell laptop charger laying around, you can charge via that adapter as well!
Boy, did I make the right choice. A couple weeks after purchasing this, we had a hurricane hit. We didn't have power for 2.5 days. The ability to (almost) silently run a small fan throughout the night while also being able to charge our mobile devices automatically made the investment worth it.
Fast forward about a week, my girlfriend and I went camping. We ran a 100w equivalent LED for a couple hours while setting up our campsite and also while cooking some burgers on a portable camp stove. Also, it charged out phones through the night with plenty left over in the morning.
Exactly one week after that, we had yet another hurricane. This one wasn't quite as bad, but we still lost power for a couple days. The built in lights are a fantastic touch, while barely drawing any power at the same time. The morning after the storm, the weather was beautiful meaning I was able to recharge the device via solar.
Finally, I've begun taking it with me on outings to charge my LiPo batteries for my RC hobby. I have a charger that can be run on AC/DC, so I'm able to run it purely off the DC side of things, negating any efficiency lost via the AC inverter, which only comes out to around 9-10w.
Speaking of the AC inverter, it's quite robust. I've stress tested it before and it does have a form of over-current protection built in, meaning that it won't get ruined if you so happen to demand a load that it is not capable of. It will simply shut off the inverter. At a continuous load of around 50w and up, there is a fan that seems to be PWM controlled that will come on and ramp up or down, depending on the load. It isn't loud by any means, but it is there. Just something to take note of.
I cannot recommend this device enough. Anyone who wants to be a little more prepared in uncertain times or simply have a reliable off grid power source, this device is certainly for you. Anker has been a brand I've used for many years now for cables, chargers, and power banks. I've never once been dissatisfied with any of the items I've purchased from them with this being no exception.
