I wanted a USB cord that had the normal size plugs on both ends (not like a phone charger that has a mini one on one side) for various things, but didn't want to pay a lot, since I won't use it much. One is, if the power goes out, I can use my laptop (battery) to charge something with a USB port. I didn't really need one 10' long, and didn't need 2, but looked at a lot of those for sale, and figured getting a 2 pack or 10' long ones would be the best deal. These cords are very heavy duty. I've only had them for a few days and tested them and they work. I saw some asked about USB cords to transfer data between 2 computers, but I don't know about that and don't plan to so I don't know if these will work. I think they can be used to attach an external hard drive to a computer (I have one with a cord just like this) and since these are 10' long and heavy duty, I think they'd be good for that (if I ever need another one) The only thing, they did't come the fastest shipping, but the price (for 2 was good) and it wasn't that long. I kept getting emails from the company asking if I liked the cords and to write a review, and I hadn't even received them yet. But, I probably should write more reviews, because I have started to read them and use them a lot when I'm looking.
I have a need to interface with ASR routers and this fit the bill. No issues with this at all, if you plug it into the correct usb port on the router :) Truely plug and play
I needed one of these, and they're surprisingly hard to find in street retail, like pharmacies and electronic stores. This one works great and it came in a hurry.
I researched these a great deal looking to get the best bang for my buck and this is what I went with. I wasn't disappointed, it was as described and did what it was supposed to. Can't ask for much more than that !
I purchased this cable for an external USB drive that I had lost the cable for. This cable is well built and a little stiffer than some other cables. I tested it up to USB 3.0 seeds without an issue. Well worth the value.
