If you’re shopping for one of these you’re going to find another one called the “Powerhouse 100.” I think the “90” is the new version of this product with a slightly smaller battery. This may have been required so it can be under the minimum for airline carry-ons, or they were looking so shave some cost. The difference between the two is about 10 watt hours.
The Powerhouse 90 advertises about 87 watt hours – meaning if you had a 1 watt draw it could run (theoretically) for 87 hours. The real-world longevity you’ll get out of the battery will vary but I think if you had a full load of 87 watts through its AC outlet you’ll likely see far less than an hour due to overhead of the inverter, etc.
The powerbank can deliver a maximum of about 160 watts simultaneously budgeted as follows: 12 watts for the USB-A ports, 45 watts for the USB-C port and 100 watts for the AC outlet. In my testing I plugged in a large video LED light that draws 36 watts via the AC outlet, had a Steam Deck drawing about 33 watts out of the USB-C, and plugged in two smart phones to the USB-A ports. It was able to provide consistent power to each device.
The power bank charges via the USB-C port at a rate of 45 watts. A full charge from empty will take about 3 hours via a 45 watt USB-C power adapter.
So what’s the use case here? For me it’s about charging the devices I have in my production bag that can’t charge over USB. For example my Canon and Sony camcorders I use for remote productions need to be charged using their AC adapters. This pack will allow me to keep things topped off (or even fully powered) as we walk from one location to another when shooting a dispatch video.
I've already deployed this several times in the field and it has been flawless. A great device that travels with me everywhere I need some added backup power at the ready.

Of course as the title says there is a little note I want to give, I been seeing a lot of reviews of people complaining that the charger is not of actual charging capacity as its advertised and I want to help clear up the misunderstanding that they and/or you have. Whenever it comes to charging a device, and this can go for any powerbank, there will always be a power loss on charging devices, meaning whenever you do charge your laptop or phone or whatever, there is resistance between the bank and the charging device giving a portion of the energy transferred "lossed" and thus makes charging little less efficient as people would expect them to perform, about 5-10% less than what you would expect
TL;DR- Battery is good, buy if you want. Because we don't live in a perfect world and its a battery, it's not 100% efficient as you would expect.
9 month update - after several trips I declare this battery is no longer practical. Unless my other 25600 mAh anker battery that never had the "auto-battery-drain" problem. The AC power get activated easily while it stays in my backpack and it dries within 24 hours and it get hot when I actually found out when I was checking on it while in travel (already drained nearly 50%). I would not recommend this though I've been a long fan to Anker products and would recommend you look for other models.
I purchased a powerhouse 100 a couple of months ago for my portable ham radio set up. Plenty of power, a USB-C port, 2 USB-A outlets and an AC outlet, all in a very compact and streamlined package. After a few weeks, I noticed that the AC port was not working.
I contacted Anker customer support because the 30 day expiration at Amazon had expired. The customer service rep (Luana) had me do some basic diagnostics and then sent me a UPS label. I returned the unit without any of the original packaging and less than a week later I received a new unit. Easy peasy.
My new unit works great and I was very impressed with how my case was handled. I didn't know much about Anker before purchasing this Powerhouse but the customer experience was excellent and I have confidence that they will stand behind their product with frictionless customer service. Luana even followed up with me to make sure that the replacement was working well.
Top reviews from other countries
I suspect that some of the other reviews here are due to misuse or misunderstanding of the AC outlet. Whenever possible you should be charging via USB. If you have a laptop that has both an AC adapter and USB C charging, use the USB C charging. The AC outlet will not have the same capacity as there will be power loss when converting from battery power.
One other item to note is that if the little blue LED by the power indicator is on, that means the AC converter is on. If you are not using the AC outlet this should be off. All of the USB ports will provide power without the AC converter being active.
Great product. To me the AC outlet is a bonus.
Tech Support was good and returns were easy. Getting one unit DOA is understandable, nothing is perfect, but 2 in a row is highly improbable. Maybe a design or manufacturing defect that affects this model.
