This instrument plays better than my old one, and lacks the issues that I previously had with an intermittently squeaky register key that I never could seem to get fixed. The only issue I’ve had is that one of the large lower pads fell out during cleaning, but probably because I let it get too wet or because I over-oiled it and the glue let loose. A quick trip to the local repair shop and $25 later I was back in business! Lesson learned —- keep your instrument dry!!! Even if that means popping the reed off and running a swab through it in the middle of your session.
The only other comment I have is that although amazon’s price is still better than purchasing straight from the factory, I did buy mine at $150 less than it’s currently listed for. The price went up the day after my purchase!
