My Uke finally stays in tune!
5 Stars
My Uke finally stays in tune!
I bought a cheap ukulele to learn and mess around with. I'm an amateur musician, play guitar and piano. I kept tuning the original strings it came with for about two months, a few times a week, would never stay in tune. Very frustrating. I bought these to replace those original strings and love them. They're thinner, more textured and have a lovely maroon color. After tuning every day or two for a couple weeks my Ukulele seems to finally keep its tune! Very happy with the sound, look, feel and overall quality of these strings. Glad I purchased them. Definitely a necessary upgrade if you still have your factory strings from a cheap source.

Sound is nice and rich. Strings are a beautiful wine color that looks gorgeous on my Uke's acacia face. And best of all the strings are nice and easy on the fingertips, requiring a lot less pressure than the standard Aquila strings that came with the Uke.

Took off a star because the A string snapped while Uke was just sitting. I hope it's just a one off, will try ordering a new set.

I have 3 tenor Caramel Ukulele also from Amazon and reviewed. 2 are ct400 one is the a variant the other has the active pickup. Both are strung with aquila red. Both are low G. I also have a ct700a another Caramel Tenor.. 7 acoustic... I recently broke my nylgut A string. I stole the A string from my Low G wound package. Since I had used it only for the wound LowG thus far. I broke that the yesterday. This already is here so I restrung the entire Ukulele. Beautiful. As the back of the package says.. They are similar in size and low tension they play evenly in volume and ring clearly. The low G set compliments the High g instrument and both RED sets sound wonderful.
