UPDATE: 7-9-2015
I wanted to update this review by saying that these are the best sounding strings I've used to date with one exception, they don't feel as smooth as Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze strings or any of the John Pearse Light sets I've tried. Truly a conundrum! You can't have it all folks!
The strings are made in Mexico which I see as a positive in my opinion; unless it's a humid part of Mexico. When guitar strings are produced in a dry environment they tend to have a much longer "shelf life" if stored properly. Ernie Ball produces their strings in Arizona or New Mexico (I forget) and uses that fact as a selling point.
