So, I started looking around and found really great reviews for the Furman M-8X2. It was not very expensive and ANYTHING would be better than what I had, which was nothing. After installing it in my system, it was like I'd been transported to another reality. This thing is magic! I bought a second one as quickly as possible for my home server/networking rack.
Used in conjunction with decent UPS devices, of which I have four, these Furman M-8X2 power conditioners have added a layer of protection I sorely needed, and cleaned up the sound of my system by eliminating chirps and thumps and screeches that were making their way into my DAC's. Highly recommended!
(12/26/2020 Update: I am now eyeing my third Furman. This time, in addition to the living room theater and the computer equipment rack, there'll be one for the Carver C-4000, AudioEngine D1, NAD T 744, and Samsung 46" HD telly in the bedroom!)

The furman is impressivly buit, solid, and has a nice weight to it; this implies a level of quality that puts it orders of magnitude better than the plast is surge strips which were almost as expensive, unlike the cheapie surge strips the Furman filters out and regulates incoming power, and had an immense capacity of protection compared to the competition regarding surge protection.
I have my non computer appliances that don't have their own batteries plugged directly into the Furman unit, and I have my Cyberpower UPS plugged into the Furman as well, with my Supermicro workstation, 4k samsung monitor, external drives and the likey plugged into that as well as my cable modem, router, television, cable box and PS3, I'm confident that despite the power issues that exist in my old building with its cloth wiring that the Furman unit will protect my expensive workstation and monitor as well all of my other things, there is a level of peace of mind that I didn't have before and that is well worth the difference in price between this device and the simpler surge strips.
I'd recomend this even if you have a UPS since the basic UPS units, the ones that aren't several hundred dollars, don't alway filter line noise or protect against larger surges.
Does it work? Before purchasing a pair of these I lost not only a powered mixer, but some consumer electronics and even a microwave oven! Since adding these (and some other conditioners that are not rackmounted, but had the same basic specs), I have not experienced any electronic equipment loses. Coincidence? Perhaps, but I researched Furman and a few other companies before buying and Furman came out top rated. The bottom line is I have confidence in them.
The receptacle spacing on the back is well designed to take both wall warts and plugs. I would never fully populate the receptacles because I do not want to tax any single power outlet. If I were to add another of these to any rack I would make sure I split my power sources between two different circuits. That is just me being cautious. I have also never used the front receptacle on these racks - except to quickly test a piece of gear - because I prefer to have minimum cabling (power or signal) plugged into the front of my racks.
Keep in mind that the depth of these are shallow, so if you were to place deeper rack mounted gear like power amps on the top and bottom you may have a difficult time plugging or unplugging cords and wall warts.
I am one hundred percent satisfied with the units I own, and will purchase more as time passes. It is a well designed and made product that does its job.

Del los filtros no puedo decir, ya que tengo un subido en las bocinas, pero eso es de algún equipo cercano que aún no identifico.
En general es muy buena opción para quien empieza en el audio de alta gama o para un estudio.
