Product Description

Envelope follower effects loop. Like the original with added Effects Loop and Attack Response Switch. The Effects Loop lets you place an additional effect between the Q-Tron 's preamp and filter section without changing the envelope drive. The added Response Switch selects between a slow, smooth, vowel-like attack and the fast, snaked response of the original Q-Tron.

The q-tron plus delivered on giving me exactly what I wanted from an envelope filter for my bass and guitar! It give a pristene funk tone to whatever you're playing. Being able to flip the shape of the filter is also a huge plus as far as the versatility of the pedal goes! If you're looking for an envelope filter, I'd suggest this one or the standard q-tron due to their ability to adjust and set the filter how you prefer.

I ordered this pedal for an excellent price on Amazon, compared to the retail prices in some stores that I looked at. I have about 15 other pedals on my board covering a full range of effects, prices, and brands. The Q-tron plus is something i've been very excited about owning for a while, but upon receiving it I was not very happy with it's performance. It does one specific tone well, but it's other features lack quality in my opinion. It does not perform quite the way I was expecting, and I now realize that this was not something that I needed, or should have spend money on.

My experiences with the Q-tron have been mediocre, to average at best. It's an alright pedal to have if you can afford to have something somewhat useless that lacks versatility in your collection. If you're looking for a pedal that does many things for the price, this is not it. It can be fun to mess around with, however as for a professional tone I imagine a different pedal choice would have been more wise.

pricey and can be annoying to always reset and tinker to get right setting but all in all unmatchable in the realms of auto wah, laser guitar, and it mixes well with other cool fx pedals, such as fuzz, phase shifter, tremolo, and delay echo...**note: this works best with how you play, it is not readymade consistent fx even once u set it---u need to play hard and resonate while at same time have the control not to break the gain or pops too much, yet if set too low to avoid doing that it wont register, so there is a sweet delicate balance of the settings and your playing---it responds to the way the string is hit, muted, eq'd tone, other fx, amp settings...this can be said of other effects but especially true with this one...for advanced players,...i destroy with it on bass, and gradually getting more used to guitar...all u pluckers and pickers on bass will have an easier and fun time using this, as i have......if u already play hard and pluck all u need to then worry about is your settings and u wont have as much consistency issues....again, watch for the tone setting on the instrument itself, and test this pedal one full day just trial and error all the different angles to it etc...
