Description

Put on your headphones, tap a beat on your table, and make your hands sound like a percussive instrument!

Who doesn’t like to improvise a beat on a table?

AAS Objeq transforms those beats to sound closer to a real percussion instrument.

With the help of your device’s microphone and a pair of headphones, you’ll get tones reminiscent of congas, bongos, djembes, or any other resonant thing.

AAS Objeq offers beam, drumhead, and plate resonator types which you can customize via pitch, material, decay, and tone controls.

Mix in your original signal and tweak until you hear something you like—slide dots, experiment, and have fun!

If you're addicted to tapping your hands everywhere, Objeq will become your new rhythm companion!

AAS Objeq will also show up as a plug-in in any AUv3 (Audio Unit v3) compatible DAW such as GarageBand, Cubasis, Auria, and AudioBus 3.

Latency is an issue

I just bought this, tried it for hand drumming on a 1st gen IPad Pro, and there’s very significant latency. I haven’t tried it yet as an effect, hopefully that won’t have any latency problems.

AAS Yaaaas!

I'm unbelievably excited to see an iPad offering from Applied Acoustic Systems. I've been using their desktop products for almost 10 years and they continue to be among my favorite developers around.
Objeq appears to incorporate some of the technology behind Chromaphone, their resonant/pm synth - my favorite product of theirs. It produces a wide variety of percussive sounds/forms and implements them in an intuitive and inspiring mobile format.
I am so pleased by the AU insert functionality - the stuff of my dreams.
Hoping to see more from these fine folks. Cheers AAS!

Absolutely Fantastic

I bought this and within 20 minutes I was finger drumming on my tabletop making the coolest sounds thru my iPads mic. After that, I used Audiobus with my own app GeoShred and some drum loops as a source to achieve awesome results! So great to see AAS enter the app space. The music fun on iOS just keeps getting better!
Anybody who loves making music needs an iPad (and this cool app!)
