The CHP rating does not denote the operational horsepower of the treadmill in ordinary household use. In ordinary household use, the motor does not operate at the horsepower shown.

The carton weighs 152 pounds so if you have two people it will make the job easier. I did it by myself by removing the carton top and all parts besides the treadmill deck. I then tipped the carton up on it's side and walked the deck out of the box then lowering it to the floor. Note that the display console is under the bottom of the deck so pull it out before lowering the deck on the floor.
Unpacking everything took about 20 minutes. Assembly took about 1 1/2 hours. It was easy to assemble. Two people would have made attaching the display console easier but one person can manage it. On the pulse crossbar a couple of the screws were hard to get into the upright bars so I had to apply some hard pressure to the screwdriver. For the latch assembly the screws were very tight in the upright bar. I could not get them to go in with just a screwdriver. I used a 12v variable speed Black & Decker cordless drill with an adjustable torgue clutch. I eased the screws in and out a couple of times until they went in with no problem and finished tightening then with a hand screwdriver.
The treadmill runs quietly and the belt did not need any alignment. I am using it for walking at 2 to 4 mph. I was a little concerned about the width of the deck and maybe hitting the foot rails. The foot rails that you step on at the sides are squared off and raise above the deck about 3/4 inch where the ProForm treadmills with an 18 inch deck or wider have side rails that slant slightly inward and are flush with the deck. So far I have had no issue with hitting the side rails though.
I like the size because at 29" wide you can roll it through a 2' 8" doorway without having to disassemble it. This is perfect for a small house or apartment with not a lot of room. Treadmills with an 18" wide deck would not roll through the doorway based on the dimensions I saw on others.
I did test it with running and didn't have any issues with my feet hitting the front motor cover or trying to drop off the back. That will depend on your height and stride of course. A treadmill review site that I saw recommended a 55" long deck for runners and a 60" long deck if you are over 6 feet tall. It also recommended 18" wide for walkers and 20" wide for runners. As stated though I had no problems with the 16" width.
The powered incline worked perfectly and smoothly both raising and lowering the deck.
The treadmill has heart rate monitor grips on the handles but the manual states to stop and step on the side rails then hold your hands on the grips for about 15 seconds. You can also sync a chest strap to the treadmill with Bluetooth. I prefer to use my Polar H7 chest strap heart rate monitor which I have synced to the Polar Beat app on my phone. The app saves all your workout data and also saves it to your profile page on the Polar Flow site.
I haven't tried the iFIT feature because I'm not going to pay $10 a month for that. I will just use my tablet and pull up a virtual trail video on Youtube.
Console Speakers: The speakers sound OK but don't expect hi-def.
Display Console: Tracks MPH or kMPH, Calories, Time, Distance and Heart Rate.
Max Weight Capacity - 300 pounds
Noise Level:
It is pretty quiet. Of course the higher you set the speed the louder it will get. And if you run on it you will have the sound of your feet hitting the deck as well. I am using mine for walking at 2 to 4 mph. I have an app on my phone called "Sound Meter" so I checked the noise level with it.
Quiet room, treadmill off - 25 db - Between rustling leaves, ticking watch and a quiet whisper at 3 feet in library.
2 mph - 50 db - Quiet office, quite street
4 mph - 58 db - Normal conversation at 3 feet
6 mph - 65 db - Between normal conversation at 3 feet and Busy traffic, phone ringing
8 mph - 71 db - Busy traffic, phone ringing
10 mph - 76 db - Between busy traffic and busy street
Warranty: Frame and Drive motor - 5 years, Parts & Labor - 90 days (from user manual)
Extended Protection: Note that if you purchase the 2 year extended protection on this page it only covers up to $400. So it would be 2 years or $400 which ever comes first.
Surge Protector: The manual recommends that you use a surge protector to protect the electrical components. It should be UL 1449 listed as a transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS). The surge suppressor must have a UL suppressed voltage rating of 400 or less and a minimum surge dissipation of 450 joules. It must also be rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps. There must be a monitoring light on the surge suppressor to indicate whether it is functioning properly. I found this surge suppressor that meets all the required specs.

Pro:
My 200 lb brother was able to run on this no problem. I use it to walk for an hour to two hours a day and the treadmill works perfectly fine.
The arms are parallel to the ground so I can put a platform on it for my laptop and do hw while I walk.
The length is adequate enough for the stride of a 6 ft person.
Perfect for a small apartment.
Con:
My 250lb boyfriend could walk on it perfectly fine, but when he set it to 6mph, it began to make some weird noises, and it seemed like it would break.
Calorie counting is not accurate.
Summary: This has the basic needs of a treadmill. It can incline, go up to 10mph, tells you distance, time, has two areas for your phone and it's very compact. However, I give it 4 stars because it is not adequate for a 250lb 6ft adult.
We bought the treadmill in late January 2020 - owner’s manual Indicated it had a 90 day warranty. I later checked my online product registration and it indicated the warranty expired in mid July. This was around the same time that the noise began. I contacted ProForm and they requested a video/audio of the noise and my address, in case parts were needed. After communicating with ProForm numerous times, I finally received this response:
“I'm sorry but because your machine is no longer under warranty you will need to order the part through our non warranty line at 888-366-7998. Hopefully they can get the problem solved from there.“
Very disappointed in this product and also in the way the company has handled this situation.

Llevo un mes usándola, y todo muy bien hasta ahora. El bluetooth no lo he usado, por eso no lo menciono.
Assembly was a joke... just Chinese junk that doesn't line up and nearly impossible to put together - eventually I did by loosening one of the main control board metal legs, then assembled the control board, then tightened the leg and it stretched the plastic and came together. My wife is the user and likes it.. simple but works good and has a small footprint so it's nice it doesn't take much space. Overall, didn't go wrong at all. Bought 2year extended warranty with it in case as it only comes with 3months. but they add another 3mo if you register. so 2 1/2 years warranty all together.
also, the pin that holds the base up for storage is a joke.. it doesn't work, if you pull the pin and lift the treadmill base up, it won't pass the pin without massive force and warping the whole machine, even then it will mar up the finish of the side so I just leave it down.
