Minor complaint is the phone voice pickup quality was described as 'boomy' or 'muddy', but given the large expanses of glass and steel in the cab, the acoustics are probably to be expected. Plays audio mp3s fine from phone, stereo wire and USB stick in addition to AM/FM radio. Can even deliver up to 1A of charge current over the USB port. No color-change, clock, wireless remote (something else to lose!) or temp gauge frou-frou in it, but it does just about everything else you want in a rig at a high level. Robust buttons with good tactile feel add to ownership satisfaction. Decent-to-above-average audio quality with four preset EQ settings and independent front-rear, L-R, and bass-treble settings if you want to go outside the box.
At this price point, with 12 - count 'em - 12 AM and 18 FM presets, this is a terrific little winner. I'm happy I selected this little guy.

This head unit is not for an audiophile. Start there. If you're super-picky about your sound, pick another unit.
But, if you like decent sound, it works.
MINUSES:
--The mp3 playback reads the folders on your thumbdrive in what appears to be no discernable order. I think it might read them in the order they were written onto the drive, and not in alphabetical order. Only way I can figure that "The Doors" folder will come before "70's Heavy Hits."
--Because you have to forward through folders as they play, rather than going through folders then clicking on them to start playing music, it takes a while to get through a large selection. That 128gig thumbdrive I bought to put TONS of music on? Useless. I have to stick to smaller ones with tighter music style selections. Yup, could used a holder for the thumb drives, to replace the holder for cd's. Sigh.
--Buttons are small and not intuitive. Keep that instruction manual handy. You'll need it.
--The bluetooth connection cuts off a lot of the first syllables or even words in sentences from the audiobooks I play through my phone.
PLUSES:
--That price.
--Easy installation when you buy the harnesses.
--Decent sound from such a tiny piece of tech.
--Fully digital. Love having bluetooth capability and usb access, along with AM/FM.
Update: Ok.. I initially gave this unit a 5, because I liked the size and ease of it. However I changed it to a 2. When I first installed it, it worked great. But within a week of being installed, the display went out. It still worked, but I could not change any of the settings, because the display could not be seen to navigate around. It still played my MP3's though, so I tolerated it as I moved onto other things in my old truck. It at least gave me tunes while I worked on the truck. I recently put my truck on the road, and the old truck runs and drives great. However, almost immediately, I noticed this radio started cutting in and out. It's not a station thing, because I don't use the radio part of it. I solely use it to play my music collection on MP3. Every bump, the sound would cut out, then back on. I am a retired electrician (aircraft) by trade, and was meticulous on the electrical connections, so I doubted it was due to poor wiring. I gave it the benefit of the doubt though, and went in to check my wiring, and connections. And yep, aircraft quality work, and everything was tight, and good connections, so it much be internal of the head unit. So, on the road, this unit is useless. Any changing of settings, useless and can not do blind with the panel not working at all. I can only use it to listen to my MP3s while sitting still, or working in the truck. I will be replacing this thing soon. I'm just glad it wasn't very expensive. So, now this unit is a "Nope!"
Update again: Well, weird, but my display started working again. BUT, NOW no sound at all. All connections are still fine as I looked. But, now no sound at all. So, this unit is going to be removed and thrown as far as I can throw it. I bought it because it carried the Jensen name, which I always had faith in. But, that is quickly changing. Sure, I know it's a cheap unit, but at any price, it should work. At least for a year or so. I got about a months use out of this crap. Downgraded from 4 star, to 3 star, now to a 1 star for me.
