With regards to volume, I prefer to wear foam ear plugs while on longer rides. I ride a DL650 so the bike isn't overtly loud. Without the plugs, these things can get loud enough to hurt my ears. With foam plugs in, they max out a volume loud enough to be heard alright (will get drowned out by horns and truck tires) at highway speeds. No complaints there. Like I said they go a little muddy at loud settings but you can't hear that through the plugs, and voices are still completely understandable. For the price, you won't get better quality and these are just fine for knocking the monotony out of a long trip. Already recommended these to friends as a cheaper (less battery consuming) alternative to a Bluetooth set and a more comfortable solution than earbuds.

After ripping my iPhone 6 off my Ram X Grip on the interstate by trying to be cheap & using the supplied auxiliary cord extension for riding, I decided to pair these headphones with the G-Cord Bluetooth Adapter (~$15), mounted the adapter to my helmet's inner chin bar, & made myself a full bluetooth communication headset for ~$55.
The only reason I gave these 4/5 stars is because the durability is not amazing. The black sheath around the male aux plug broke after a few months & exposed the red & black wires beneath, which has held up fine with electric tape & caution for 2 of the last 6 months I've had these. Also the foam headphone covers began to rip off after the second time I pulled these off the velcro, which I fixed with a little superglue. Finally, after hours & hours of playing music full blast through these, the left speaker has started to buzz when playing higher tones. I expect I'll get a generous year out of these, but I'm also fairly abusive to them. I expect a higher end kit would hold up better, but these are unbeatable for the price.
update: loving these. I use them with an adaptor (mini din M to 1/8" stereo F) for the intercom headset output on my Honda F6B. I mount the droid on the clutch master cyl. (ram mount) and use a 1/8" extension cable to go from headphone out of android into the aux in located in glovebox. This allows handgrip vol and mute and provides plenty of power for clean volume and could go to passenger also. Also can hear droid's audiobooks, directions, and the bikes AM/FM stereo and wx, as well as music on a usb stick in the trunk! Long trips much less boring now.
I went to request a refund on Amazon and had just passed the 30 day return period by a couple days. So I went to Uclear's website to look for warranty information. The accessories are covered for 1 year, great! However, UCLEAR states that they will repair or replace said accessory, but they are not responsible for the shipping related to this warranty. Very disappointing service standards. I will not be purchasing any other UCLEAR products.

These tiny little speakers however did not dissapoint..... they are loud, clear, do not distort and the bass is deep!
I have just used them snowbaording for a week in Italy and they performed excellently.
Would not hesitate to buy again should I damage these.
Please note they came from the USA but worth the wait and price.
I personally run a PA2V2 inline amplifier with my Sena whether I'm powering these speakers or the in ear monitors. The IEMs are still louder and clearer. But there's a time and a place where I prefer the speakers, and when I prefer ear buds. That makes me think, maybe I should get a second helmet . . .
