Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

WOW I didn’t have to put it together !!! This echo weed eater is super great , I read the directions , put fuel in it and it started on the 3rd pull I did my yard and no problems , it is light easy to used and my Back didn’t hurt when I was done I have never gave any product 4 thumbs ups but this one has earned it 👍👍👍👍 Eddie
When my Stihl trimmer gave up the ghost, after being a pain in the *** for a long time, I decided to switch brands.
My dad had a little Echo chainsaw way back in the 70s, and it was the first chainsaw I ever used. It was lightweight compared to the massive McCullough he also had, and I made some good money going around the neighborhood and cutting up firewood.
I realize that was a long time ago, and that old chainsaw was entirely made of metal, while this new trimmer has its far share of plastic.
But I think the quality pulls through. This trimmer is much lighter than the Stihl, and even better, I can change out the string much easier on this version than the Stihl.
It's easy to start, the instructions are easy to understand, and I think this brand is more consumer friendly, especially for new users.
Having said this, this Echo is only for yards and small jobs. The Stihl was a professional version like you see on a landscape truck.
What can I say? It's an echo!! Has more than enuff power for even thick weeds which had accumulated over winter, I am quite confident that it will last for years. The price was a bargain for such a lightweight and balanced machine.
I was a bit concerned ordering an item like this trimmer. I was amazed on how powerful this string trimmer is. My prievious trimmer bit the dust only after a few uses. And had difficulty cutting thru heavy brush. If I need extra cutting power for some thick stemmed weeds I just bump the string and had length to it and it cuts right through heavy weeds as thick as your thumb. I would recommend this to someone looking for a trimmer to do an acreage. My acreage is 4 acres and it does a great job. Used .095 string. Easy on fuel lasts longer than on my previous Toro trimmer. Happy In Iowa.
Perfect for my 1.5 acre yard. Easy to start for me. I’ve used some other trimmers/weed eaters and some of them are a pain to get started especially after it’s sat for two weeks. No issues for me. I love the speed head also. No hassle basically.
