About Us
Cold Steel is a company dedicated to making the strongest, sharpest knives in the world. Over the last three decades, Cold Steel has been at the forefront of the many innovations that have helped to define the knife industry. Progressive accomplishment, including the introduction of the checked Kraton handles, and the tanto point blade styles have gone from curiously interesting features to industry-wide hallmarks of quality and sophistication. New ground was also broken with the introduction of unique new blade steels like San Mai III and Tri-Ad Lock & locking mechanism for folding knives. Of course Cold Steel will always look to the future, constantly striving to make the world's strongest, sharpest knives. That goal as elusive and difficult to achieve as it is, has been the same for the past forty years.
Product Description
Product Description
The Cold Steel 4 Foot .625 Blowgun has an effective range out to 20 yards or more. With practice, a skilled user can hit a two-inch circle at amazing distances, delivering a heavy weight dart. That's a payload easily capable of penetrating a half-inch sheet of plywood. Accuracy and range like this enable an experienced hunter to take small game like doves, quail, squirrels and rabbits in complete silence without danger of over penetration or errant darts striking livestock or humans in the distance. Shooting a blowgun is great fun. It is an activity that can be enjoyed indoors or out, in sunny or inclement weather. Skill with a blowgun can lead to many inexpensive hunting adventures and stand you in good stead in survival or self-defense situations.

Cold Steel's blowguns are a lot of fun to shoot. They come with a target-style mouthpiece and three-millimeter-thick barrel -- almost twice as thick, and half again as heavy, as the company's standard models. This added weight and rigidity dramatically increases accuracy, not to mention durability, and the gun comes complete with a wide variety of darts for different shooting situations.
A convenient quiver holds darts in an easy-access position.

darts are cheap, order darts while your at it! the broad heads are the best, the razor tips are no longer produced because the people making them kept screwing up and cold steel canceled their contract, the stun darts are fun but not as neat as the broad heads, and the bamboo pokers are not really all that!
LONG LIVE COLD STEEL
The 4 foot model feels perfect as a walking stick though I can't imagine the walking plug that goes on the end would stay on well or last long if it did but it is a bit heavy for a walking stick so I doubt I would use it as such.
I had a blow gun as a teenager and this Cold Steel model is so superior in quality, power, and durability that I can't believe I waited so long to order! Great price too!!
I also found that the darts sometimes slide out of the blowgun rather than being held in place by the orange backs. It is not the case for all of them but probably about 1/3 have this issue.
Despite having the orange backs, the darts still get lost easily under grass. If you have kids or pets keep this in mind.
The mini broadness darts pack a punch! I find that they consistently stick 1/2”-1” into tree trunks from 10yds away.

Wirklich in allen Bereichen!
Drei kleine Tipps am Rande:
