About this item
- [SMALL FOR A REASON] Quick, more efficient cuts and you can take it with you when you don’t want to lug a big saw around
- [EZ-SET DEPTH GAUGE] The lever lets you go from 0-45 degree bevel settings with quick adjustment
- [MADE FOR LUMBER] Excellent depth-of-cut for slicing up to 2" stock lumber. Cut 2x4s in a single pass. It also cuts metal, tile, and plastic
- [SEE THE CUT] Left-sided blade optimization gives you a clear line of sight on anything you’re cutting
- [DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] WORX tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that’s been designed to last
- [POWERFUL, PORTABLE] At 4-1/2”, and only half the weight of a full 7-1/4” circular saw, you get portability without sacrificing power. The thinner blade makes for less strain on the tool, so it can work harder
- [4.4 LBS] Light, so you can operate it with one hand. That weight also allows you to make more precise cuts and work longer with less fatigue
- [EZ BLADE CHANGE] First, unplug the Worxsaw. Then a simple 3-step process with just a button push and a turn of an Allen key, and you have a fresh, new blade
- [INCLUDES] 4-1/2” Worxsaw, 24T Carbide-Tipped Blade, Parallel Guide, Vacuum Adapter, Allen Key

From the manufacturer
-
One-hand Operation
The newly designed slim form factor makes the WORXSAW even lighter and more maneuverable. Grab it with one hand, and you're good to go
-
2" Cutting Capacity
Made to cut up to 2" thick stock lumber. It's made for quick rip cuts around the house, too, but lumber is where it really gets to work.
-
Easy Depth Adjustments
Just press down the lever and raise or lower the main handle until you're at the depth you desire for the project at hand.
-
45 Degree Bevel Cuts
For artistic or functional end pieces, you can come at your wood from an angle that's just right.
-
Quick Blade Change
Hold the red spindle lock, grab the hex key, unscrew the bolt, release the flange, switch out the blade and repeat those steps in reverse.
-
Dust Extraction
The dust port lets you hook up a vacuum so you can keep a clean work area. It makes things safer and it's easier to see what you're cutting.
Easily slices through 2x4's
It reaches the same speeds as larger saw on account of it's smaller 4-1/2" blade.
Perfectly Portable
Full size circular saw can be a pain. The WORXSAW stores, easier, travels lighter, and is much handier on the job site or in the workshop. For quick plunge cuts, without all the setup, just grab it and go.
How is this compact circular saw different than the previous model?
The new compact circular saw is slimmer and more powerful featuring increased motor power enclosed in a brand new ergonomic slim-body design.
What is a compact circular saw and how is it different than a traditional saw?
Compact circular saws have smaller diameter blades and are easy to handle. Smaller, thinner blades take less effort to cut through up to 2 in. thick materials. The handle behind the blade offers excellent cut-line visibility and maneuverability.
How long is the power cord?
The power cord is 6.5 ft. long.
Can I bevel cut with this saw? Is it possible to plunge cut with this saw?
This compact circular saw is capable of bevel cuts up to 45 degrees, at thicknesses up to 1-1/8 in. at a 45 degree bevel. You can also plunge and pocket cut up to 1-11/16 in. thickness.
What kind of materials can I cut with this compact circular saw?
Included is a carbide-tipped, 24T, wood cutting blade. Other blades are available to cut a variety of different materials. Make sure to choose the correct blade for the material and saw size.

I am a cabinet maker and am frequently asked to do maintenance and repairs on many 75 year old to 120 year old houses that cover my neighborhood. These homes tend to have many tiny places (closets and cabinets) I need to squeeze myself and my tools into to make repairs. A traditional 7.5 inch circular saw cuts speedily but is too unwieldy for such small spaces as these and a reciprocating saw is frequently too slow and too big.
I received the Worx Worxsaw yesterday after spending several hours comparing it to the Rockwell 5 Amp Compact Circular Saw (at nearly twice the price depending on the vendor) which is made by the same Chinese manufacturer as the Worx. Despite all the rave reviews for both saws, I had hesitations about each of them. My concern was that the 4 Amp Worxsaw wouldn't be powerful enough for what I do and that the poor placement of the lock release button on the Rockwell and the Rockwell's 3 extra inches in length would make the saw uncomfortable to use in the cramped quarters I frequently find myself in.
I opted for the Worxsaw. It came yesterday and I put it to use today in a tiny closet I needed to partially demolish.
My concerns are gone. I love this thing. It cuts through a 2 by 4 effortlessly. It cut 1/2" plywood right along the straight edge I clamped to the board without creeping so alignment of the blade to the footplate is spot on. Depth adjustments are easy. It fits my hand like a tailored leather glove. The lock release is easy to reach and the hand position is genuinely comfortable. It small size makes it incredibly easy to maneuver even in very tight spaces. It even sounds good (you can hear the healthy whine of the gearing inside). The engineers coaxed the perfect amount of torque out of the motor when paired with the thin kerfed blade. Most importantly, the cut surfaces are clean enough for gluing if you need to do so provided you let the tool do its job without forcing it.
I rarely review a tool online. This tool is a rare exception.
To be fair, I have only had it for a day and have no idea how long it will last. Nevertheless it feels solid. It is not too heavy or too light for its size. I have noticed that Worx sells a similar tool in the UK with a laser attached. I wish I could have purchased that as it would be a help for the kind of work that I do.
My recommendation is that you don't concern yourself with the power output in comparison to the Rockwell. This is a stellar tool.

Pero definitivamente es una excelente herramienta, la tengo trabajando todo el día y hasta ahora sin problema.
It’s easy to handle, light and small enough for me to feel comfortable but does exactly what I need it to do ❤️
Perfect for me
