Device manufacturers are treating HDMI to USB-C video +data as a rare need, and perhaps it is, but judging by the comments and reviews, it's becoming more common as monitors move to USB-C inputs while there are tons of legacy devices with only HDMI or DisplayPort outputs.
Highly recommended.

I am playing my Nin Switch on it because I wanted to see how good it would look using the mClassic combined with the Gaming & Cinema cables. I am very happy with the results big time. I found the price just right as before it was over $100 last I checked so the wait was worth it.

I would recommend going this route especially to retain full functionality of the Apple Studio Display. As there are only a couple others that allow that to happen.
Apple TV and Nintendo Switch looks great, have not had any issues.

This would be a rather important piece for my new work space, but as it didn't function out of the box, I can't really recommend something like this. It would be far more cheaper to get a dedicated USB-C port for your motherboard, a decent length USB-C cord, and connect your MobileStudioPro through it that way instead, as that was the intended way to connect the tablet to your PC.
For 70 dollars, this piece of equipment did not feel worth it at all.

I read a random Amazon review on a totally different monitor that said that this worked for them and so I said why not and bought it to try.
IT WORKS. I plugged my HDMI from my computer to the Link then the USB-C to USB-C to the monitor using the monitor port on the link (there is 2 usb-c ports on the link, one for monitor output and the other for power) then the USB-C to regular usb into my computer for power and it works! I litterally couldn't believe it.
I think this is either the only or one of the only devices that is capable of doing this. No one anywhere suggested this as part of my research so definitely wanted to leave a review and say that this definitely works and is amazing!!

I tried running it with my 1st gen surface book and it didn't seem to work with over the display port. The screen on surface book goes black and flickers every few seconds. The Hdmi works if you hook up a mini dp to hdmi and plug the hdmi end into the Wacom link plus, but the resolution is limited to quad HD which is practically useless since everything looks blurry on MSP.
I was glad when I plugged it using a Full Dp cable to mini dp into the adapter from my desktop computer which is running a AMD Rtx 580. It just works. No issues at all. And that was my intended use, so I am pretty happy with it.
