Works to convert HDMI out to USB C Video In on Desktop PC, supports Pen & Touch on Lenovo 14t
My need was to add my Lenovo ThinkVision 14t touch + pen monitor to my desktop to use for note taking during Zoom calls and to provide high quality pen input to documents. The Wacom Link Plus is working perfectly for this purpose, and is one of only two devices I could find that convert HDMI to USB C Display/Alt Mode, the other being from SIIG (which I have not tried). I get display, touch and pen/stylus input all working properly on the 14t display via a single Thunderbolt 3 cable from Link Plus to the 14t. The other data connections are HDMI out from my desktop video card to the Link Plus, and USB 2 from Desktop to Link Plus. The USB 2 connection carries the touch and stylus data. Power to the Link Plus is coming from a nearby USB AC adapter via a USB C 3.1 gen 2 cable rated at 3A (probable much more capacity than is actually required).See images for more details.Device manufacturers are treating HDMI to USB-C video +data as a rare need, and perhaps it is, but judging by the comments and reviews, it's becoming more common as monitors move to USB-C inputs while there are tons of legacy devices with only HDMI or DisplayPort outputs.Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works on Wacom MSPro 16.
Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2020
I was afraid this would not work on the Wacom MSPro 16 but it does. I didn't have to download any files when I hooked it up so I believe they had passed a updated long long ago for it to work. I heard others saying how it would not work when it 1st came out. I guess they fixed it.

I am playing my Nin Switch on it because I wanted to see how good it would look using the mClassic combined with the Gaming & Cinema cables. I am very happy with the results big time. I found the price just right as before it was over $100 last I checked so the wait was worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Nreal Airs
Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2022
Great product, works for my use case. I have a pair of Nreal Airs and all of the HDMI to USB C adapters I have tested cause the display to be off center/cropping. This is the only adapter that worked out of the box.

Apple TV and Nintendo Switch looks great, have not had any issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes laptops that don't have USB-C/Display Port work with USB-C exclusive monitors!
Reviewed in Canada on October 31, 2022
After apparently not doing enough research and purchasing a Dell C1422H which is a USB-C Displayed Port/Thunderbolt compatible only while not having that kind of port. I have a regular usb-c port and my other laptop doesn't have any usb-c port. I did hours of research to try and figure out how to get it to work.

I read a random Amazon review on a totally different monitor that said that this worked for them and so I said why not and bought it to try.

IT WORKS. I plugged my HDMI from my computer to the Link then the USB-C to USB-C to the monitor using the monitor port on the link (there is 2 usb-c ports on the link, one for monitor output and the other for power) then the USB-C to regular usb into my computer for power and it works! I litterally couldn't believe it.

I think this is either the only or one of the only devices that is capable of doing this. No one anywhere suggested this as part of my research so definitely wanted to leave a review and say that this definitely works and is amazing!!
