This keyboard is horrible! My son opened the box on Christmas Day to find keys that were bent and a keyboard that was unusable. It looks like it’s been exposed to heat and warped. This is the worst product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon ... and my window to return the item has closed because I started Christmas shopping in October. Very unsatisfied!

The sound is good enough for my needs, and best of all, my granddaughter loves it! My husband bought me a full size keyboard for Christmas, which was way to large for my purposes. This is definitely a child sized keyboard as the keys are smaller than the keys on a real piano. It works fine and it's also very light and easy to carry around. My little grandkids have fun with it. They mostly play the Demo songs. I just wish the default volume wasn't so loud--that's why I only put 4 stars. If you're buying for a serious student of the piano I would definitely recommend getting a keyboard with full sized keys--and ideally with weighted keys.

I bought this for my 18 month old to stop him bashing the hell out of my electric piano. It works well for that. It is light weight, so he can lift it up and move it around himself. The keys seem sturdy enough to hold up to his battering (and at this price, if it doesn't last forever I won't be crushed).
I took off the two stars for a couple of reasons: It is not as simple as it might be to change the tone or the rhythm... I was expecting a button for "piano", a button for "organ" etc... but instead you have to hit the "tone" button" and then the up or down arrows to chose the number corresponding to a particular tone. Same for rhythm. Same for the demos. Not a big deal, but it means he always uses it in piano mode because he can't figure out how to change the sound on his own (that's his favorite thing to do on my piano!). The bigger problem is that every time you hit one of the buttons to change tone, or rhythm or to play one of the demos it makes a really annoying high pitch beep that my kid seems to enjoy more than the sound of the actual keyboard. So we are enduring a repeated barrage of irritating beeps rather than the somewhat musical bashing of keys! I keep thinking there should be a way to switch the beep off but I haven't found it yet...

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas as her first keyboard/upgrade from the kiddie xylophone type 'pianos'. Because of this, I wasn't going in with a need to meet the highest of expectations. Decided that I would spend a little less in the case she didn't enjoy it, but if she did, wouldn't feel bad investing in a nicer one in the future. Sad to report we can't even tolerate using this one. When it is plugged in and turned on, it makes the horrible buzzing/static sound. The volume control is a very loud/high pitched beep (paired with the static undertones). Additionally, the product description boasts having all of these different settings and we find we can't even change modes or access half of them. It is described as being light weight (as a pro). It is entirely made of cheap plastic, keys included, which contributes to its light weight. Wishing I just spent more to begin with to ensure good quality and an enjoyable experience for my daughter, who won't even play with it due to the off putting sound. Wishing I had better things to report!
