This is a great value for a LEGO set this size...
I've been building LEGO as an adult for a few years now. I loved them as a kid but as most do I reached an age eventually where I stopped because it was too childish. As an adult however I ended up with a condition that required physical therapy with my hands and building LEGO turned out to be very helpful.LEGOs tend to be expensive and $50 doesn't always buy you that big of a set these days, but this is a surprisingly large for the money.Plus I've always been partial to sea planes. The build is fun and the final product is strong and stable. There are no numbered bags, you have to open everything at once. You get two full color instruction booklets- one for the main sea plane design and a second for an alternate design that looks like a fighter jet.The sea plane features a rubber-band secured cargo door that you can push open from the top of the plane which releases "water" onto a fire. The "water" in this case are 8 transparent light blue 2x2 round bricks. The wheels are geared to the propeller so it turns as the wheels turn. There is a 4-way "joystick" toward the back top of the plane, in front of the tail, that controls the wing and tail flaps.Beware there are a fair number of stickers.

As an adult however I ended up with a condition that required physical therapy with my hands and building LEGO turned out to be very helpful.

LEGOs tend to be expensive and $50 doesn't always buy you that big of a set these days, but this is a surprisingly large for the money.

Plus I've always been partial to sea planes.

The build is fun and the final product is strong and stable.

There are no numbered bags, you have to open everything at once.

You get two full color instruction booklets- one for the main sea plane design and a second for an alternate design that looks like a fighter jet.

The sea plane features a rubber-band secured cargo door that you can push open from the top of the plane which releases "water" onto a fire. The "water" in this case are 8 transparent light blue 2x2 round bricks.

The wheels are geared to the propeller so it turns as the wheels turn.

There is a 4-way "joystick" toward the back top of the plane, in front of the tail, that controls the wing and tail flaps.

Beware there are a fair number of stickers.
