I bought these for my boy that just turned 3, even though they say the age is 5 and older. He doesn't put toys in his mouth and I can only see these being a problem, if a door broke and they put it in their mouth, or the windshield came out/broke and left a sharp piece, or they managed to break the steering wheel or tires off and put them in their mouth. He likes to crash these together, along with any other vehicle he has. He often pulls them back, which is easy, and then lets them go and they go into the oven, which is about 1.5'' above the ground and the trucks hits the bottom of the metal oven, right at the windshield, and one hit hard enough that the windshield partially cracked and kind of popped out on the edge; but this is not a problem with the toy, just a rough boy, and probably why they say it is for 5 and up. It hasn't ruined the truck, and I will probably just take the windshield out and he won't care. I bought these to be played with and they are being played with. I would definitely recommend them, and think it is a fair price for what you get and it appears the prices go up and down, so you could always price watch because as I write this the price is really low and each truck is only a few dollars where as I paid a little more. The packaging was simple and plain, as if the seller Amazon ships these for gets them in bulk and splits them up - all 4 trucks where in, a plastic bag, and each truck was just in a zip lock bag, in the box with those air filled plastic pockets they use for cushioning during shipping.
We enjoy these and I would definitely recommend them. For those that write reviews that are bad because they didn't get one, or something wasn't working properly, contact Amazon; they have a great return policy and mistakes are made, but don't knock the toy ratings for packaging/ or a defective item as their are shipping reviews meant for that and hassle free returns.
