I originally bought one of these to try while traveling, staying at hotels where sockets can be hard to get to. I liked it so well that I bought more to use around the house. Because it is shorter than many power strips, it can be easily tucked away. It also fits better on a desktop or night stand. I can plug several transformers in without them bumping into each other. I don't need to plug in phone/tablet charger blocks thanks to the three USB charging ports.

Charges what I need with a quarter of the space

One thing that always bothered me about power strips was I couldn't get anything small, and if I DID get something small, it would be like, 3 outlets.

As much as I think Anker can sometimes get to be too big for their britches, this thing is actually really useful. USB ports for my phone and tablet free up space for things that actually require a power plug (computer, Switch, PS5 controller), so it's really nice to have so many areas to plug things in on this thing, but not using a ton of space. The plug itself that goes into the wall is flush, which slims things down even more.

The only thing I didn't like (and keep in mind this is for my place and my place only), is how long the cord is. I didn't need it, but there are a lot more people in the world who need a longer one than a shorter one, so it's a "me problem" vs what the majority of users ask for. I had to give it four stars for the traveling aspect because a quite thick 5ft cord isn't really what I consider light. But like I said, your opinion is probably different than mine for that.

I never write reviews. I love this product that much that I’m writing a review 2 years later.
I own 2 off these bought the first one April 2022 and mounted it to my computer desk. The second one in July 2022 for a vacation.

The one on my desk has lasted with no problems throughout hurricanes and power outages, and nothing I’ve plugged into it has gone bad.

The 6 spots to plug it make it very useful and the usb charge spots are amazing. Only drawback is no USBc spot but there are so many large charge spots you can still fast charge no problem. Any time I vacation I bring my second one worth the purchase.

I have no problem recommending Anker products. They stand behind their products, and are easy to get exchanges from.

6 3 prong outlets, with ample space between them, and 3 USB-A ports, make it great for traveling with a CPAP, Laptop, Phones/watches/tablets.. in a compact formfactor. That said, with the baked in surge protection, I doubt this will be good for going on a cruise ship, so this is going to get relegated to bedside duty at my partners house, and my travel power strip will go back into my travel bag.

It did come with what seemed to be mounting pad, which will be nice so I can keep it off the floor at my parters, and make it easier to reach as needed.

This item feels pretty high quality, like basically all of their products... except the power switch. It has a satisfying click, but the switch is a bit jiggly. My only other complaint is that oddly enough I would prefer a plug that sticks straight out, instead of the angled cord. I know wanting things to sit as flush to the wall as possible is a big thing for many, but in a case like this where it's more likely to be a temporary plug that is less likely to get put behind a big piece of furniture... it would be less important.

Okay for overseas travel despite the 125V rating printed on the device

Update:

After a failed attempt to contact customer service and after putting in my return request I decided to make one more attempt to contact Anker customer support. I sent the email Saturday morning and received a response Monday morning, the next business day:

Thank you for contacting Anker Customer Service.

So sorry for the inconvenience brought by our call service. I will confirm with our concerned team to see why this happened.

Please know that both the AC outlets and USB ports on the Anker 331/332 Power Strip can support 100-240V for travel use. But the product itself and the manual only state 125V. This is because of certification.

About the input--125V/10A located on the product and specification, it is the standard design for the US. In addition, according to the new changes in NRTL(Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) certification requirements, we are not allowed to print 100-240V on the product itself.

In this case, the AC outlets and USB ports can be used at the same time safely with an input voltage of 220-240 Volts.

If you have any other questions or would like me to clarify anything else, please, let me know. I am always glad to help in any way I can.

So there you have it. This is okay to use overseas but the new NRTL requirements prevent Anker from printing that fact on the device itself.

The power strip feels well built and a great size for something with 6 outlets and 3 USB ports. I'm glad I can use this because after looking around there was nothing else I liked as much as this one.

I just hope I can cancel my return request with Amazon!

Original Review:

I bought this so I would have a dependable compact power strip and USB charger that would work here and in Europe. The description on Amazon says in multiple locations that this is rated for 100-240V but a couple of the reviews I read said it's not, so I went to the a Anker website and it clearly says on their website that this model is rated for 100-240V, so I bought it.

The item I received looks just like the one in the picture but on the device itself and in the included instruction pamphlet it clearly says it's rated for 125V only, not 100-240V. I called Anker customer support and I got a recording that said their call center was closed for maintenance and would be open tomorrow. I have to send this back as I already own more power cords with USB that are only 125V than I need. Otherwise it's appears to be a solid well built good looking power center.

Do not buy this if you are looking for something to travel with outside of the Americas. You'll only be disappointed at best and have a smoking burning pile of melted plastic on your hands in the middle of your hotel room in Paris at worst.

Just plug the end into an adapter so it can actually fit in an NZ wall socket, and make sure every device you plug in supports 240V, and everything works. I used it for 3 months straight like this. I kind of wish it had a removable cable for longevity and even more compact storage, but it's still very compact when travelling. I didn't even have to bring my Anker USB brick I use at home with me while travelling, because this has those built-in USB ports. The plug layout and count is great, and it's hard to make large power bricks interfere with each other. Did great with multiple electronics plugged into it! (Laptop, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, Phone, etc...)
