Product Description

Magni Heresy raises the bar even higher for affordable headphone amps, with the highest output power in its price class and the cleanest measured performance of any Magni.

Not Just a "Starter Amp"
Magni Heresy has the power, performance, low noise, and versatility to meet all your headphone's needs. You're set from IEMs to hard-to-drive planar designs. With a full 2400mW into 32 ohms, Magni Heresy has tremendous power reserves. Combined with low distortion, an exceptionally low noise floor, and switchable gain, it performs beyond its price.

Even Higher Performance
Magni 3 Heresy has even higher measured performance from integrated (op amp) designs.

It has insanely great measurements from an all-op-amp based headphone amp that uses super high quality parts, including a multiple paralleled output stage with feedforward.

Versatility Comes Standard
Connect Mangni 3 Heresy to your desktop powered monitors, or to a speaker power amp to use it as a preamp. With its built-in time-delayed start-up and instant shut-down, there'll be no glitches or pops through headphones or speakers.

Why the name "Heresy?"
When we started developing an all-op-amp Magni, it was 100% counter to everything we've done. We've always done fully discrete designs, so going op-amp was far, far easier, and more typical in today's world, but it was, well, almost anathema. So to us, an op-amp Magni was heresy. But we're happy with the way it turned out!

Designed and Built in California
The majority of the total production cost of Magni 3 Heresy--chassis, boards, assembly, etc.--goes to US companies manufacturing in the US.

2-Year Warranty
Magni 3 Heresy is covered by a limited warranty that covers parts and labor for 2 years.

Excellent $100 pricepoint. Paired with Modi it's a dream for any desktop entry user
New to the audio scene. I've got a Sennheister HD595 and HD600 for over a decade that I've rarely ever used because I never really had a good amp to pair them with. I know Schiit has had quality audio products for over the past 20 years and it was finally time after building a new desktop, re staining and sealing my desk and building new monitor stands. I finally had the room for them and I spent more time than ever at my desk working from home now.I bought the Magni Heresy and matching Modi 3e. Paired together you only need 1 AC plug as the Modi powers off of USB from your desktop. Using both together to run into AudioEngine A2 and the Sennheisers and testing with 320Kbps and FLAC files the difference in audio clarity is night and day. I'm hearing songs and albums I've known for 30+ years in a whole new light a jump I haven't seen since buying my first pair of good Sony headphones as a 9 year old. The quality jump from those on-the-ear phone headphones that came with walk/disc mans and now from before to after is astounding. They're small, easily kept out of the way and feel sturdily built. They are lighter than I expected and the only downside is that the volume knob feels gritty/grainy/scratchy and could be a little smoother as I understand some higher level models don't have that. Been fine to use though and the power flick switches are super satisfying. Only downside is there's no light indicator for power on the Magni whereas the Modi has one on front.Highly recommend if you need a $100 Amp or a $200 full stack with the Modi.
